After many, many years of being insecure about my nose I am finally having a rhinoplasty procedure.

I'm from the U.K. and have researched consistently over the years, have had consultations with plastic surgeons in the U.K. and never had high hopes for getting the outcome I wanted.
I have been told by a surgeon in this country that it would be extremely hard to work on my nose as I only want subtle changes. I also have thick skin, and was told that whilst the healing process is harder it also covers up any mistakes made (reassuring? Lol).

I started looking at places abroad for the procedure and was astounded at the results people were receiving. I believed Iran was a good place, but I also felt like most of the results I saw tended to be on the extreme side, which is not what I wanted personally.

I then started looking more intensely at clinics in Turkey. I contacted 3 which I found from RealSelf, and 1 more which I found outside of this website.

The only clinic I got 'good vibes' from was Dr. Kerem's clinic. His patient coordinator is amazing. Replying to all and any of my queries extremely quickly.

I have booked to have the procedure on the 28th of April, flying from the U.K. on the 27th. I confirmed the booking only 2 weeks ago which does seem rushed but I have been looking into this for almost 10 years now so I feel more than ready!

I was told that I have and need the following during the procedure (bear in mind these are judgements from photos only, quoted from the email I was sent):

"-Your radix is too low, we have to augment the radix and bridge.
-We would need to increase the tip definition.
-You have a rather thick skin nose, dominantly on the lower third of your nose around your nostrils. There is not a lot we can do to make your nostril walls slimmer, however, we can perform an alar reduction to deal with your override alae, meaning a nostril reduction.

The redefinition of your nose together with a bridge&radix and tip definition will be performed. You will also achieve a well defined tip through the rhinoplasty procedure. Our aim on your nose would be carrying out a better projection of your tip&total shape of your nose. You’ll end up with a more feminine, well shaped and natural look for your nose. Please also note that, respecting the natural beauty of the patient is our motto, that is why we do never have artificial outcomes. Also, the disadvantage of the thick skin is that, it hides the amendments that are made in your nose as the cover of your nose thick, also it prevents the swelling to go away faster like a standard rhinoplasty case."

I will also be having a laser/PRP treatment on the day of my final checks (5th May) for acne scarring and general skin concerns, which costs £330. I have not included that in the price attached to the review as I likely won't be reviewing that part.

I will update with before photos closer to the date :-)
