Hi all!
So I went back a week ago for my next fix - this time she replaced the botox and a bunch of extra filler and now I`m pretty much where I want to be. I am rushing out of the house right now so no time to post a pic but will get one up asap!
This time no bruising at all. The bruising last time was my own stupid fault - I followed her instructions about no Advil or Tylenol, but didn`t think about the steroid injection into my back for chronic back pain I had scheduled the day before which was apparently like taking a million Advil!!! Whoops!!! :)

Some pics!

So I have inherited deep eye sockets, thin skin...

So I have inherited deep eye sockets, thin skin under my eyes (thanks a bunch, mum) and I've lived with it my whole life, until a few months ago I noticed that the fat pockets that used to plump up my face have disappeared :( leaving me looking not unlike an extra on walking dead.
My BFF went for it last year and looks amazing. So I toddled off for a bit of botox last Friday (first time for that too!) and wound up signing up for fillers too!
I LOVED my girl - she was super conservative and really knew her stuff. My experience was the same as many others here: lidocaine, in through my upper cheek, and then used a tiny canula to distribute the goo (one syringe worth - how much is that exactly? I don't know!).
The first day I was swollen - which actually I quite liked! I was a little bruised, but only because I stupidly got a corticosteroid shot into my back the same day. She said don't take ibuprofen, so I didn't. She never mentioned steroids which it turns out is like taking 50 Motrin! Whoops!
But bruising aside I was thrilled with the results. My only concern is that - 3 days later - the swelling is down and it looks like the fillers are disappearing! Am I just getting used to them? One syringe is very subtle I know. Is it just my imagination??! Does anyone else have the experience of it being absorbed in 3 days??! I don't know if I am just getting used to it and my mind is playing tricks on me!
