I had a breast augmentation 8 years ago and absolutely loved them. They were saline and 489 filled to 500. I was 125 lbs at that time, a B cup and went to a DD. I gained weight which put me at a DDD and made them look even better, although after losing some of the weight again I had some dropping. I could benefit from a lift but was fine with how they were until one ruptured. I was quite anxious about getting them redone as I had to find a new doctor. I searched real self and yelp and found several qualified doctors but decided on Dr. Andrew Smith in Irvine. He is so warm and kind yet confident and decisive and really listened to me and didn't try to bully me into getting a lift (as another doctor who reminded me more of a car salesman did). His staff is amazing as well, kind and bubbly, you feel as if you have your friends there with you. I decided to go with silicone this time and he said I would need 525 and high profile to be equal to 500 of saline I originally had. I decided to go a little bigger cuz why not? the 500s looked great and rather natural, I knew my body could handle bigger and he agreed, although he doesn't like to do above 650 due to complications so we agreed on that. (He said after the fact that it was rather impressive how well my pockets accept large implants, so I guess my boyfriend was right about me being built for big boobs lol) surgery was a breeze and since it was my second I didn't have that up to my neck look and no pain. It's only day 4 but I feel confident I'm going to love them. They're still a little hard and the deflated side is higher but I feel really great and have no concerns. Dr Smith is highly qualified, has great reviews from all his patients, and has the best personality and staff. I would recommend him to anyone. I will update further as I heal.

Hi I'm getting my BA in 7 days. How do I find the November forum?

hello - my BA history is identical to yours except I have 600cc instead of 500, now wanting to go bigger (fuller I should say) but confused whether I should get saline again but overfilled or silicone high profile. My doctor said last time I needed a lift but was willing to do it without. Not sure how he'll feel this time. I want to have an idea of what I want before having a consultation. So I would very much appreciate updated pics from you! good luck! you look great!

They're still the same (I'm only 9 days post op) but I will definitely continue posting pics as they progress. At this time I'd recommend you go with silicone, walking around with one boob for 3 months after my deflation was awful lol but I'll let you know how they compare in softness and appearance after they have healed :)

They look great! Are you above or below the muscle?

Thank you! They are under the muscle. I did saline the first time so over wasn't even an option because of the rippling that would have occurred. So just did the same this time. Are you trying to decide or have you already gotten them?

Deciding on size. I'm currently 510cc mod profile silicone under muscle. Not sure if the increase to 800cc would make a significant difference. Check out my profile when you get time and give me your thoughts!

They look great how they are but if u want bigger 510-800 will definitely give you a significant difference! I've seen so many really great pics of 800 ccs but wasn't willing to risk the increased risk of problems so stuck with 650, and they're plenty big although a subtle difference from 500. You could also go high profile if you wanna see an even bigger difference. I think comparing my pics to yours give a pretty accurate example of moderate vs high profile.

Oh I just saw you wrote you like the natural slope so never mind on high profile :)

I would have to go with high profile with increase in cc because of the diameter. I would definitely like the high profile. Do you think changing from mod to high profile going up to 700cc will make a bigger difference? I may not need the 800cc with high profile. I'm concerned about the 800 with me being over the muscle. All of my appts the surgeons said to stay above muscle because I've been above since 1999.

Well above the muscle definitely makes em look bigger than below from what I've seen so ya maybe 700 would make u happy. But under the muscle, on me, 500 to 650 is barely bigger.. my dr doesn't like to do more than 650 cuz the risks of side effects goes up, but if we're talking purely aesthetic, I'd say screw or! Do 800!
