So Pleased!- Lip Filler Journey

I never thought I would want lip filler, but after years of fever blisters my lips became very lumpy from scar tissue. Then I started to think, I wouldn't mind having my lips more plump. I went to see Jenna at Synergy & I could be more pleased. I definitely went through the whole process of the initial “omg my lips are too big & they’re lumpy shock”. Then as swelling went down over the course of 4 days or so I wish I had my huge lips back (happens to everyone). I went in for my 2 week follow up and she touched up a couple areas. I went back in 2 months later and mentioned I didn’t think they were even. She explained to me that my lips were far from perfect to begin with and this is my natural anatomy. I can appreciate her honesty. I had some minor bruising on my lips that i covered with makeup & surprisingly didn’t have a fever blister from the treatment. Depending on your lifestyle or job you may want about 4 days of downtime to avoid people asking “oh no what happened to your lips” or “did you get lip filler”... the audacity of some people (lol). I hope this was helpful, I definitely recommend any of the synergy medical staff, but I particularly like to see Nurse Jenna.
Oh and I forgot to mention I received 1 syringe of Juvéderm plus.
