I would like to start off by saying that I have always have had a very active lifestyle that included sports, adventure and a lot of dance. I was always blessed with a great physique and a strong flat tummy. However post the cesarean deliveries of two above average babies, with an age gap of just about two years, things started to change. I was very happy being a mother to them, yet developed a very huge stomach due to a lot of loose and sagging non fat skin. I was slim overall, but the stomach just would fall to the floor. That is when I decided to consult with Dr. Sameer A. Karkhanis for a tummy tuck. He was the sweetest and most genuine doctor I have come across. He explained everything so well and was very truthful and genuine about the entire procedure. That is when I decided to go ahead with a full tummy tuck that would also repair my Umbilical Hernia. About the operation - This is no small operation. It includes a lot of post operation care and patience in recovery. I was taken care of very well at Dr. Karkhanis clinic and his staff was really very caring and sweet. Today I am 22 days post the operation and feel as fit as ever, though the operation scars and the mild swelling will still take a while to heal. That is why I say this requires patience. But I have been already gaining so many compliments of looking good, fit, slim and active. No gain without pain. It is all worth it. I am ready to wait for about 6 months to be able to dance and run again rather than spending the rest of my life carrying a bag of loose unhealthy sagging tummy skin and wearing a corset for the rest of my life.
