So after 41 yrs I've taken that HUGE step and decided to finally get my B/A in 15 days!!! I've wanted to do this since my early 20s. I've never had any boobs I actually always say I'm a minus minus A lol..I'm the first in my fam and friends to get a B/A so I'm all on my own here so I'm ecstatic that I found real self and see I'm not alone on alot of what I'm feeling! After much research I chose IMAAGE with Dr.Haas in Louisville Ky. They are all so kind and make me feel comfortable. I'm getting Natrelle style 15 575cc I'm wondering if anyone close to my build and size has gotten this size and if it hurts your neck and or back because I've had surgerys in both of those areas and I'm concerned about that and how bad the pain is after surgery I've read its like a elephant sitting on you?? also How much can you do right after surgery...I would greatly appreciate any input! And any advice for before and after surgery...thanx! !:)

the elephant sitting on your chest is pretty accurate, but it goest away after few days and after that it's like a smaller elephant that takes its place :)) but no worries it's not an unbearable feeling. my natural breasts were a C cup and I got 405CCs and honestly it feels heavy (i'm 17 days post op). So i'm guessing if you going with 575cc from a "minus minus A" you will definitely feel some pain in your back, but it will all eventually go away and you will feel awesome and love your new boobies :) . Make sure you have someone available to help you at all times after surgery.. I still need my husbands help with even small things like doing laundry and cutting up chicken. It is different for everyone and hopefully you will have a faster and easier recovery. Also have ice packs so you can place them on your chest because that helped me a lot . Make sure you take the stool softener pills (if the doc prescribed you some). I made the mistake and didnt take those pills for 3 days post op and that was probably the biggest mistake. Take them with every meal after yr surgery. Good luck and dont be nervous, its an exciting step you are taking :) keep us updated

Thank you so much for your reply:) I had my post op app yesterday and we decided to actually go up a bit due to the shape of my breast and so I can get the "round cleavage" affect I'm going for, I took a few dif outfits to see how big of a difference it was going to make and I was shocked that the only noticeable change was one of my shorter t shirts (I like them about pubic line long) was a bit shorter! And they said it would only be about 2 extra pounds added to my regular wieght! NOW I'M EXCITED!!!:) I'm glad you told me about the ice packs because I wasn't told that one so I will pick some up. Is the stool softner due to to the pain meds side affects or does it actually hurt ur chest when you have a bowel movement? I know that might be a odd question lol I'm glad your doing well and love your new additions to the family;) hee hee keep me posted and I will like wise! If you think of anything else please let me know:)

i guess 2 lbs isnt much weight, so you'll be fine. Take pictures with different outfits before surgery .. I only took a bikini pic and that it :( feeling bad now because it's awesome to see what a difference the breast augmentation makes. The ice packs helped a lot to soothe the sore feeling. Also around day 6-7 I started feeling strong burning and needle poking sensation around my nipples (which is normal, it means the nerves are restoring) and only the ice pack could alleviate that feeling . Just make sure you dont put the ice pack straight on yr skin obviously.
The pain meds make you really constipated .. I was eating only soups and high fiber foods and I thought i'll be fine without taking the stool softener, but i was very soo :( I suggest you take them from the first day. If hurts a lot even when you sneeze ..so having to strain when constipated is pretty painful for your boobies (and not only haha)

I meant my pre-op appointment not post-op..I guess I'm so excited I'm writing that I've already had my surgery:) lol I did take pics and the funny thing is I can't stop looking at them!! Lol its like looking at someone else if that makes sence..do u look in the mirror now and think WOW! If I'm already in love with just the pics of me wearing the implants in a sports bra I can only imagine how I'm going to be when I get them!:) I've not heard about the prickly nipple pain until you told me, does it last long? And if you don't mind me asking are they super sensitive? That's what my nurse told me and she said they can get extremely, majorally sensitive!! Mine did when I was breast feeding so I'm wondering if it's that kinda pain (cuz those puppys hurt bad then) or a dif kind, she hadn't breast fed and couldn't relate. ..you don't know how much I truly appreciate your comments and help! I'm learning a lot thru you and I'm feeling more at ease now that I know more. ..the unknown to me is worse then anything! I'm going to get some pics up so you can see these bigger then life twins I've been talking about:) hee hee ty!!:)

I never experienced the elephant on my chest. Surprisingly because I went pretty big for my body type. I'm 5'0 120 and got 455 UHP because I'm so narrow up top. I was expecting to not be able to breathe well because I've read so many reviews where they couldn't take a deep breathe and it felt like an elephant on their chest. Luckily I didn't have that. The first couple days after surgery weren't near as bad as I thought. I was just sore and very stiff. I worked my arms as I could so they wouldn't be so stiff. My buck hurt terribly for the first week or longer but it's from sleeping propped up. That is horrible lol without a bra they just felt very heavy and foreign. So I'm glad I had to wear my bra. When I took it off to shower I held them as if they were gonna fall off lol showering I had to have my better half completely wash me for my first 3 showers. I had horrible nerve pain in my right breast. Which that was my smaller one, luckily that only lasted 2 days. By far that was the worst part. And not everyone experiences that. I was very small to begin with. Make sure u have lots of ice packs. Also I couldn't get out of bed without help for the first 5 days. You do start to get a little depressed where you're helpless and can't do anything on your own. You can't clean the house or do anything but trust me this will pass. Just give yourself time to heal and don't rush it. Don't lift anything, and then when you start feeling more normal just be cautious. Remember you don't want to mess up your very expensive investment. I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I couldn't be more pleased :) just keep reminding yourself it does get better!!!

Also I had an issue that I wasn't expecting anything that I had to do with putting pressure with my hands, opening pill bottles, using pump soap all things like this. Opening juice is still hard sometimes lol so just be prepared you may have the same issue. I just had no strength to push and it was uncomfortable it didn't hurt. Just make sure you have someone to take care of u for a few days after surgery. Good luck!!!

Omg you have helped me more then you know! Surgery is day after tomorrow and let me tell you I'm full of anxiety! I've had other surgerys including lumbar, both feet reconstructed (due to severe accessory bones) and complete hysterectomy so you would think this would be just another one for me but its NOT! I think because this is something I'm choosing to do and I'M THE ONE who picked the size that I will carry with me the rest of my life it has made me more nervous...don't get me wrong I'm so excited I can't stand myself and seem to be watching the clock and counting down each and every hour lol but I'm just nervous! We're you at all?? I doubt myself alot sometimes and I think that's what I'm doing.. doubting I made the right size decision. ..but I know I did if that makes since..I'm glad you told me about your experience it gives me a little more heads up about how things might go in the next couple weeks..I'll be posting my progress:)

12 days and counting!
So I had my last pre-op appointment Friday and made my final decision on size...Ive signed all my papers, I'm all paid and have my instructions for day before surgery, morning of (my surgery is at 730 am) and my after care instructions along with my scripts.. with my wide shoulders and chest and body size/shape I decided to go up a bit. I have more then enough room (since I breast fed and went from nothing to a big C then totally deflated again) I want that fullness and ability to have "cleavage" it's always been a dream of mine and ive always had boob envy! Haha But now. .......IT'S GOING TO BE A REALITY!!! I've chosen Natrelle mod profile 615cc I know that sounds like alot but we're not working with much here lol my nurse and Dr. Both have explained that what they appear to be just trying them on inside a sports bra is not what they will be once placed under the chest muscles and my nurse talked in length about how many woman think they are choosing to large and get anxiety then go down a size or more then after surgery and thier implants have settled they wish they had gone bigger and she said that's why so many woman go back in and redo with bigger implants or just arnt ever quite where they wished they could have been, My thoughts are I'm doing this 1 time and I want to be happy with my final result so after much thought and reading everyone's stories that's been shared on here I know I've made the right decision for me:) I took 3 dresses 2 t-shirts 1 leather jacket 3 dressy shirts and a sexy jump suit I just bought and tried them all on with the implants (It was really fun and my nurse is the MOST AWSOME to be so patient with me and help me play dress up;) I was shocked at how everything still fit but just filled them out (in a great way:) I was worried I would have to buy new clothes but seems like I really wont..(except for bras;) I CANT WAIT to take my new twins to Victoria secrets and buy them some new sexy pretty bras and for the first time in my whole life NOT NEED PADDING! Most of my nervousness is now gone except for some about the post-op pain and stuff but as for any anxiety over my decisions I'm totally at peace! Come on October 23rd!!!!!

Surgery is DAY AFTER TOMORROW! !
I can not believe my surgery is sooo close! I've waited almost half of my life to have tatas & it's almost here!! I've been like a crazy person over the past week getting my home clean & ready for my "break" from house chores lol I think I may have ran into a major dilemma tho so who ever reads this & has ANY idea please comment on it...I live in a 3 story home & I mean full 3 stories & the bedrooms of course are on the 3rd top floor, the steps are many and pretty steep I don't have to use the railing or anything but I do find myself leaning when going up, everyone has always commented on the fact of how steep they seem, I don't have to go down to the 1st floor it's basically the finished basement and laundry area..so my question is will it be painful for me to climb up & down the stairs to get to my bedroom the first few days or weeks? And also for all of you mommy's and grandma's out there how long was it before you could hold your babys again? My grandbaby is my life & he's always with me & I know I won't be able to hold him for a bit but I would sure appreciate everyone's different experiences with this so I can be counting down the days after surgery when I get to hold my little man again:) (he's over 25 pounds now) he's not a year old yet (was 10 pounds at birth, big boy;) but he's very "busy" these days lol with his arms everywhere & clapping, throwing things down, just normal baby stuff...I'm not sure if he's even allowed or if I will feel like him just sitting in my lap (if I'm not picking him up or anything)..I worry he would come back with his head & hit my new soar boobs..so if you all have stories please fill me in so I know what I probably should & shouldn't do & what to expect. .ty:)

OH and I guess I should add to this that after a long conversation with my nurse and remeasuring me and discussing my wants and expectations of my new boobies we went up to 615cc!:) I don't want to have tube boob so I've heard it called due to shape and size (or lack there of) I want a full C to small D so I bit the bullet and made the decision:) I CANT WAIT!!!! I honestly think that with my very wide shoulders, huge hips and waist that's smaller then either of them this is the right fit and I will feel better proportioned!
October 22, 2015
youll b happy u went bigger with ur shape/height. broad shoulders and a thicker body youll look proportianite - not sure i spelled that right
