So at the age of 19 i had birthed and breastfed two children. My body was fine but my breasts, not so much. While nursing i was an engorged D from a small B so you can imagine how pancakey and deflated my breasts looked after. Well you dont have to. I posted pictures. So i decided to get my breasts done because my hatred of the ones i had was affecting my every day life and relationship in a massive way. Yea, maybe i shouldn't be so vain but i just didnt feel sexy and was so uncomfortable in my skin. So i came up with the money and went to Imaage here in Louisville. Dr. Haas would not give me the humongous boobs i wanted but we went up to 500 cc saline (it was cheaper and silicone wasnt legal in the states yet and was only available to a select few through a study if you were over 21 and i was not). So the surgery and healing went great. My breasts looked positively silly immediately following. I was super skinny and my skin was tight as heck over these large implants. When i just went back recently and seen the pics he asked the nurse if i had had a hematoma in one of them after surgery lol. They didnt look at all nice. But after a month they started the drop and fluff and looked pretty amazing a couple months after. Then i got pregnant and 8 years later and 30 pounds up they look real and pretty dern good. Im going back for a panniculectomy and lipo so i thought why not get the big boobs i wanted initially since i have the skin now. So we are going up to 750. So i will be one and a half times the breast size i am now. So i will keep you updated because those surgeries are happening in two weeks on the 7th. But overall im happy with my realistic looking and feeling DD saline implants that ive had for almost a decade. They changed my life and gave me confidence in my clothes and naked i never thought i would have. Doctor Haas is a great doc with middle of the road pricing and a great location in every way. Also no hospital fees. Totally recommend. Updated on 9 Jun 2024: I had a revision planned when I posted my review because Dr Haas refused to give me Pam Anderson breasts because my 19 yr old body was too small and I didn't have enough skin. They ended up having what looked and felt like a double bubble situation, and I wanted them larger after 8 years. I also wanted silicone since I wasn't allowed to have it before because I wasn't yet 21, and that was the law. Anyway, I went up from a D to a DD and I believe they now look more symmetrical without so much of the double bubble. They are also silicone, so no water balloon feel at the double bubble. I'm heavier now at 33, so they fit better with my current skin and body as well. It's been 5 years and I like them a lot better. I also had a panniculectomy during my second surgery that I had to beg him for because he said I should get to my goal weight despite not being able to get any smaller from running 7 days per week for 3 miles per day for 5 months. I also requested lipo. It was terrible. Not one change happened from either except fat cells growing under my chin. I wouldn't go back to Dr. Haas. He's just all I could afford in Louisville at the time. He's retired now after selling Imaage and going to what seems to be Mia Aesthetics before retirement. Now, I'm scheduled for a 360 lipo and bbl in Miami next month provided I get medical clearance tomorrow. It's totally different having to get medical clearance, a battery of tests, and asking doctors here to prescribe pain meds for a doctor in another state who's doing the actual surgery. So, I will be going without pain meds. I will post a review of that when it's over.
I went in weighing around 216 lbs my goal weight is actually between 180 and 190, but it’s not my weight that bothers me it was just the muffin top and back rolls, right along with my flabby stomach. I have a nice hour glass figure and it’s still visible through the fat, but I rather have it contoured, so I decided what the hell? WHY NOT get the fat sucked the hell off for good! This is what I looked like pre-op vs now. I am 10 days post-op! I had my surgery on March 29th! Im still very swollen, but I am starting to see results.
I am 30 years old and have 2 beautiful children, ages 10 and almost 5. They were both big babies and wrecked my stomach. I am 5'8 and fluctuate between 165 lbs and 173 lbs. I tried to lost the stomach through diet and exercise, but honestly the less I weigh, the worse my stomach would look (at least when naked). My husband supported me 100% in having the surgery, but most friends and family didn't really understand it or think I needed it. I sent my before picture to most of them and then they kind of changed their tune. Haha! I can hide it well in clothes. So anyways had my surgery yesterday Sept. 1st, and so far so good. Pain wasn't so bad the first day, but I was not prepared for the insane amount of oozing I had from some of my lipo areas. It would soak through a pad as soon as I put it on and everytime I got up to go to the bathroom it would leak everywhere. And it wasn't pink - it was bloody. so needless to say my husband was cleaning the carpets a lot yesterday! i called the Dr and he said that it was normal cause he had pumped an extremely large amount of fluid into me so I was oozing more than some people. Another issue I had yesterday was that I had to pee like every 45 minutes. It may not seem like that big of a deal but when you are pouring bloody fluid all over the floor everytime you get up, it sucks. And when I would pee I wouldn't be able to fully empty my bladder. I would have to sit there another 2 minutes or so and the rest would come out. Weird. But today the oozing has slowed down significantly and the bladder issue has mostly resolved. Today my only complaint is the pain. It is a lot worse than yesterday, but it could be worse. When I am laying down it is about a 3 and when I get up it is about a 7. But once I am up it goes down to about a 5 I have a pain pump, which the dr wants to take out tomorrow morning along with the drains, so I am a little scared to see how bad the pain is without it. I don't know how many lbs or anything the Dr. took off, but I plan on asking tomorrow. The post op nurse told my husband he lipo'd 2 2-liters of fat. And that doesn't count the skin he removed. I am very swollen and bruised so it is hard to see what the results will be, but I can tell a big difference in the front view pic, the side view is a little less noticeable. I also has lipo of the chin area (submental). That hasn't really hurt at all. I just have to wear an extremely annoying head garment. I took it off to see today and one side is smaller and the other is a little bigger. I really hope this is just swelling!! Updated on 4 Sep 2011: Why can't I have a bowel movement?! This is ridiculous. Friday I took 2 doses of MOM and a stool softener. Saturday I drank 2 small cans of prune juice and took a dose of miralax. And today I drank 3/4 of a bottle of magnesium citrate. Still nothing. Oh and I drank some coffee hoping that would do the trick. Ugh!! Should I be concerned?
Hello everyone, i am having a tummy tuck with lipo of the flanks, back and thighs on March 29. I've only had one child and can't say he's to blame for my weight gain. My shape snapped back immediately after giving birth but in my late 20's I started picking up weight that I couldn't get rid of. I've done all the diets, exercise and have become more active but nothing has helped so far. So i'm glad this site is here not only for support but i'm glad to have people to relate to. My family is super supportive but I think they're more nervous than I am! Anyway I'll post before pics soon. Updated on 7 Apr 2011:
Amazing experience from start to finish. I don’t know how there are so many negative reviews but the clinic, staff and surgeon was great in every way. I’m 4 weeks post op and healing well. Happy with my results and my experience. Updated on 26 Mar 2024: I’m over a year po and I’m so unhappy with my results. My cheeks are uneven, I have a large lump on one side and my hips are also uneven. I still have love handles as well. I knew I would need a tt and breast lift after so that I was expecting but my ass is not what it should be. I’m so depressed about this. Updated on 27 Mar 2024: After having 6 children and spending 14 years neglecting myself I decided to do something for me. I did research and decided to go with Dr haas at mia aesthetics. For the first few months I loved my results but then I developed a large lump. I continued to reach out to Mia with my concerns. My hips are uneven, my butt cheeks are uneven and I hardly look like I had anything done to help. Once I hit 9 months they finally let me schedule for an appointment to come in to talk about a revision. Once I figured out when I could fly in I called back only to be told I couldn’t because haas was no longer with Mia. They told me sorry, there’s nothing we can do to help you. I’m disgusted, depressed and so angry that after all these years I finally decide to invest something I wanted in myself only for it to turn into a complete disaster and let down. Let me also say I knew I would need a tt/bl later even tho dr haas told me i probably wouldn’t need a tt, I still knew or at least figured I would. It’s the misshapen and uneven butt that has me. I followed all orders. I did not sit for 3 entire months. I got all the massages and wore my Faja 24/7 for 6 months and then most of the day for up to a year. The morning of my surgery I remember telling the nurse that I had a bad burning in the middle of my left cheek and she continued to tell me it was normal. After I was back at the room with my husband it was burning and hurting so bad in that one spot so I felt back there and could feel a lump under my Faja. I had my husband help me pull the Faja down so I could see what it was and in that same spot where the lump is and where the fat died off was a wad as big as a softball of gauze stuck right there. I truly believe that is what messed up my left side. But I’m stuck like this unless I pay for another bbl to fix it and continue to put a tt:bl on hold when I should be able to be doing those procedures now. I’m so unhappy with my Bbl I feel like there is no reason to fix the tummy and breast until I figure out what To do with my ass.
My nipple size increased way bigger than I had wanted and left terrible scarring around nipple and told me he gave me a lift which was not true ! He lied . He was not very nice just all about the money . Do your research before going to this man as I was ripped off and still need a lift today. Good luck
Horrible. He put the wrong size implant in and then told me if I did not like it to put in for a touchup I did not like the size and they were a little hard, so I put in for the touchup and he denied it. Trifling. Do not go to him for surgery. He does not care.
Dr. Haas is HORRIBLE!!!! This doctor is a Mia Aesthetics for a paycheck and he can care less about your results. I had liposuction 360 and I got off the table looking like I didn’t have anything done. I have love handles that I wanted gone. I’m 5’5, 180 pounds, 29 BMI. Nothing major. I waste money, time away from work, flights for me and my care giver, rental cars, post opp essentials and care, massages, etc. THOUSANDS DOWN THE DRAIN ON TOP OF HORRIBLE PAIN FROM THE PROCEDURE.
He is the worse. Redid my sx 3 times and left me with lots of scars, *bunny ears* on my hips and complaining whenever I mentioned. He literally walked away and I end up with this horrible thing on my hips. Now he is in Miami and have lots issues there too. NOT RECOMMENDED
Hi everyone, I am getting ready to do my liposuction to my ABS, waist and lower back. I decided to do liposuction and then I will have a tummy tuck in 3 months or 4 months later. My PS said this would get me the flattest in the ABS area. I have been reading all the other stories it is great to have some information and see the pics. Updated on 10 May 2013: Hi, my surgery went well today. I woke in burning pain but medication took of it. MY PS took 2 1/2 liters of stuff. Dr didn't spend much time with after but the nurse was great. T Updated on 11 May 2013: These pics about 24 after. Incontent pads or Maxie pads are great for the drainage. Updated on 12 May 2013: Two days after some swelling left thigh, abs area. My husband is amazed ( you have curves ) lol. Pain can be bad at times trying to not to take to much pain med, back to real life : kids ,house ,dogs ect. Updated on 18 May 2013: Ok so today was going to be my whinny day . That torture garment my PS gave me with the side zipper has been a real pain in my side ( to the point where I was in tears) and asking myself why did I do this. While I was out looking for a less of a torture garment I went in to the miss dept at a store and tried on a straight tank, for the first time in at least 17 years I liked what I seen ( no love handles ) wooohoo bought 4. Husband might have to put me on a budget lol! They were 1/2 price. Updated on 27 May 2013: Recovery is going well. My weight is down to 122 lb. My husband said the sweetest thing last night "Hun even when you lean over your not fat". I had love handle before. He has been amazed so far about my liposuction, I think more then me lol. I am posting new pics. I was hoping not to have to have a tummy tuck done. But I have a lot of loose skin. I will wait it out and give it some time. My left side is not as smooth as my right, I have been messaging it. Hope everyone is recovering well. Best wishes. Updated on 14 May 2014: Since my lipo I had a tummy tuck ( April 7th). I have worked out in the gym heavily since my lipo. The TT help me get rid of the lose skin I had ( hated it). I hope everyone is doing well.
Hello! I find the best cream for post surgery scars is SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel or Epidermal Repair. They both contain Hyaluronic Acid which is highly moisturizing and helps with the appearance of scars. Hopefully this helps. Thank You.
Breast augmentation enlarges a woman's breasts through the surgical placement of breast implants.
