I've been so self conscious of my labia since high school! I'm 33 now have had 2 kids and just wondered if any of you had insurance cover the surgery? If so how can you get it covered? Is recovery painful and is sex better? Here are my pics let me know what you think! A guy once made a comment after I had sex with him to someone else about the size of my vagina! Soooo embarrassing! Something you just don't get over plus Im insecure in my bathing suits

At least you are symmetrical. Some men prefer large labia and [RS bleep] but if you find your swimsuit too revealing you could pay thousands for a revamp! Perhaps a clitoral circumcision may make you feel better and more attractive but I would not be too hasty as I think you look great. Love Lilian.

I tried and tried to get my gyno to give me one and she kept saying insurance would cover it only in "extreme" circumstances and that mine wasn't extreme enough. I had another gyno a few years ago who just flat out told me insurance wouldn't cover me. I personally feel that if it's something that caused pain from major irritation and sometimes bleeding that insurance should cover it. In reviews from just typing in "labiaplasty" on Google, many women say they've had insurance cover it. So I ended up having to pay for mine ... And I haven't gotten to the sex part yet - my husband doesn't know I did it and I'm nowhere near healed. My stitches popped out too soon - maybe I was swollen more than I realized? And I think I've gotten infection where some of the incision popped open. - I wish I could post my updated pics but my iPhone 6 hasn't let me post anything in almost two weeks! I'm beginning to wonder if I did the right thing. Im wondering if my PS trimmed too much or if I'm just swollen and don't realize it and still super sensitive but I actually hurt more now and feel even more uncomfortable. It's like nothing is there to cover the vaginal opening. I feel like I should've talked about it more openly with my PS to make sure I knew what my exact outcome would be... Instead I was just so embarrassed and insecure and was like "it's ugly make it better!" So with all that said... Ask your gyno about it to see if ins can cover it or some of it where you are. If not go to a PS and really talk about it. Just spread your legs and show him/her exactly where you'd want your labia cut and take pics of others you like the look of. I never had any pics to even show my PS. Good luck for when/if you do get it done!

You look fine, if I had looked like you before I started, I would have been happy and I wouldn't have had the botched job I had, the way you look is what I wanted to look like.
