**The Godfather of Dissolving Filler**
I’m writing this very honest & open review for anyone on the fence about having their filler dissolved.
After having VERY poorly placed filler injected on Feb 4th. I searched on the internet for some time, scrutinising every review. I narrowed it down to 3, and revere was one of them. Fast forward 10 days, and I found myself at the Revere clinic. I was greeted by Dr Mohan’s very friendly assistant, who sat me down in the waiting room, was asked to fill in a short form, and offered a hot or cold beverage. Within 10 minutes I was called in for my appointment. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful & clean the procedure room is. It’s a modern, quirky and incredibly spotless!
Dr Mohan greeted me with a huge sincere smile and shook my hand. - I instantly warmed to him, and felt my anxiety disappearing. We had a good 15 -20 minute chat about my expectations, what he could do to meet them, and about Hyalase itself (the dissolving product)
Dr Mohan looked at my eyes and instantly saw the flaws in the placement of filler. In fact he pointed them out before I did! Which was a massive relief. He then proceeded to mark out the areas that needed dissolving. - and that when he had finished, I was to look in the mirror, and see if I agreed with where he put the markers. - and to see if I saw anything he didn’t (as in misplacement if filler.) Dr Mohan managed to mark every single bit of filler! Which must take a fantastically trained eye considering he didn’t put the filler there in my eyes in the first place! Well after seeing this kind of attention to detail from him, I knew I was making the right decision coming to see him.
After all the marking, I was directed to the procedure bed. Dr Mohan could tell I was slightly nervous (my hands were starting to shake a bit haha) he said with a huge smile “Amanda, everything will be fine! Just relax” and I did my best to do just that.
Thing is, it’s hard to relax when you hear about all the terrible stories on realself and other medial review sites. Especially when filler removal has something like a 73% “worth it” on realself.
Anyway, he started the series of injections, And in all honesty I barely felt the needle pierce the skin (that’s how gentle this actually was) and before I knew it, it was finished.
He helped me up, and said again “don’t worry Amanda, everything will be fine.” We had another l chat about aftercare, general do’s and dont’s, and that was it.
I eagerly awaited the dreading swelling and bruising etc, - it never came! I had two days of very mild, slight swelling, and one bruise that looked like a mole (only flat and bigger.) I’m now a week post Hyalase and could not be happier! I’m slightly hollow (but this was explained to me in great detail during my consultation) the bruise has almost vanished, the terrible Tyndall effect has disappeared. And I’m 100% happier as a person generally.
This is to anyone wishing to dissolve their poorly placed filler: if you hate the outcome, you don’t have to live with it. I lived with it for 3 months (and wished I’d gone to Dr Mohan sooner, I’d have been happier a lot sooner) if you’ve had filler that looks like bruising , or has either a white or bluish hue under certain lights (like my left eye did) and it doesn’t disappear in 6 weeks, it could well be the Tyndall effect. Dr Mohan resolved this instantly with Hyalase. Please don’t be scared about going to him, he’ll instantly put you at ease. Guarantee you’ll walk out MUCH happier than wen you walked in.
