3 Months Post-Op

I just wanted to update you guys on my status. I have reached the 3 month mark. I am feeling really good and my breasts feel more and more a part of me with each passing day. The incisions are healing up well and I am using some scar strips to help fade the incision lines. Right under my right areola I had a wound due to my breast rubbing against a bra I wore one long day of working outdoors. I have been treating it with neosporen and keeping an eye on it. It is almost gone. I still am numb on the bottom areas of my breasts but that area is becoming less as time passes. I am still very happy with how I have healed and with how they look. It's been in the tripple digits here the past 2 weeks and it has been difficult to not just get into the pool fully but my doctor recommended no saunas, pool, or ocean for 4 months post op. I look forward to enjoying those things next summer.

2 Months Post

I was recently asked to share am update as well as show how they are proportionately to my body. I have attached a few quick shots to show. I feel that in everyday clothing I look very natural with 800s. I don't think anyone would come to the conclusion that I had implants. On the other hand if I wear very tight or low cut shirts then it looks like I had work done because they are too perky to be natural. For a 5'10" woman it would be proportionate if you have a medium or larger body frame, if you have a very thin frame you would probably want to consider in the 500-700 range. I know it was tough to decide on the size, and I am very happy with my decision. Many factors play a role in what shape and size to get. I would suggest finding photos of breasts that you like the shape, size and proportion of and have your doctor suggest how that look could be achieved. How did you decide on a size and are you happy? Any advice for someone deciding on a size?

As far as healing up, I am doing great. Right now they are taped because I had to work wearing costumes this week for Comic-Con down in San Diego and wanted to have my incision lines protected. It is best to not rub them or irritate them during the healing process so even though it isn't the most glamorous thing to be rocking tapes it will make for less scars and a faster recovery.

Day 47 / Week 6

Since my sister is having her augmentation this week with Dr.Taneja I thought I would post a follow-up. I love everything about my breasts. They are healing up quite well. I posted a few photos showing how the scars are healing up. I think I will buy silicone sheets this week so I can begin the scar therapy. I am sleeping on my side now which is so awesome since it is much more comfortable and I feel more rested. I am able to lift, push, pull with ease now. I am still cautious to not put too much stress on my pectoral muscles because I know they are still healing. I am back at the gym and feel great. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary over the weekend and Dr.Taneja's office said that I should avoid wearing a bra or wear a bandage bra if I don't wear my sports bra. So I just went bra-less during the day. I had gone out and bought new outfits to show off my new curves. I realized that my pre-surgery wardrobe had many halter tops and high necked shirts. Now I feel free to wear all styles. It is so much fun. Still wearing a sports bra during the day and at night. I still have numbness in my lower breast and nipple tissue. I am feeling more sensation as time goes on. I am not doing any massage.
