WORTH IT$7,000
I have been reading reviews on RS since January and after 4 consultations I have decided on Dr.Taneja. I live about 5 hours from Huntington Beach, so tomorrow I drive down and then the morning after is my surgery. Today is mainly packing and preparing for the week. I decided on Dr.Taneja because of his ascetic eye and his ability to do the lift and implant in 1 procedure. One surgeon said that he does the lift 1st then in 4 months will go back and do the augmentation. That surgeon's work is nice but I don't feel that I would be comfortable being smaller for 4 months then having to go back for a second surgery. After my 4 consultations I had was quoted between $5,000-16,000 for the lift with implants. Besides deciding on a physician, the second toughest decision has been the size. I am 5'10" and currently am a 34D. There are not as many tall girls that get implants with a lift so its difficult to determine what cc would be the best fit for my body. The look I am going for is a step above natural. I want to have awesome cleavage but not be crazy too big where I can't cover them up for more professional settings. I have decided on going for 800cc HP silicone. To most people that would be extremely large, but considering my frame and height I feel like it will be the right fit for the look that I want. Also, I am going under the muscle. So far, I am not feeling nervous or anxious. I don't think it's hit me yet that in 2 more days I will have the surgery.

The morning of surgery

I was tossing and turning all last night. Not sure if it was nerves or the hotel bed. Maybe it was a combination of the two. I am excited to have the surgery but I want to be on the recovery side of things already. Only a few hours to go. I haven't had anything to eat or drink after midnight. Quickly ate some saltines and drank 2 bottles of water at 11:30 last night hoping that it would tie me over through today. Drinking that much water before bed only had me up going to the bathroom all night, lol. That's ok, I have a feeling that I will be able to catch up on my sleep today. Alright, got to go now. I will post as soon as I am feeling up to it.

I hope your surgery went well and you are loving your new boobies <3 I can't wait to see your after photos with the 800 cc. It's nice to see someone getting the higher cc than the norm on here, because I would like to go pretty big as well. Not sure until my consult. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Day After

Surgery was a success. Yesterday morning I got checked in, had to sign about 20 pages of paperwork, they did a pregnancy test and had me change into a gown, cap, and booties. I then went into a side room where they checked my vitals and started an IV. The staff were nice. Dr.Taneja came in and asked me a few questions, confirmed size and then went to town with the purple pen. I was nervous at 1st but then I felt at ease after speaking with him. The anesthesiologist came in and went over my health history and made it seem pretty straightforward. I said my goodbyes to my mom who came down with me and then was walked into the surgical room. They had me lay on the table and strapped down my arms. Dr.Taneja said he would add some drainage tubes since I am going so large and that it will help with the swelling. The anesthesiologist told me I would begin to get sleepy and the next thing I remember is waking up in recovery. The nurse showed my mom how to empty the drainage tubes and went over the medication with her. They put me in a wheel chair and wheeled me to the car. As soon as we got to the hotel I jumped out and threw up in the bushes. I pretty much stayed in bed all day and night, only getting up to use the restroom or walk. This morning I attempted to have breakfast at the hotel but then threw up my breakfast in the lobby bathroom. The pain meds and muscle relaxers help so much. When they are in effect my pain level is about a 2. When they wear off its about an 8 due to the muscle tightness. I thought most of the pain would be around the areola and suture line but its actual in my upper chest where they had to separate the muscle for the implant. I am thinking the next day or 2 is generally worse, just like when you workout. Overall, I can see some cleavage so that motivates me to push through the pain. Excited to see them tomorrow when I have my post op appointment.

Hey!! Congrats on making it to the other side!! Im so happy for you! I hate what the anesthesia does to some people!! Im one of the very lucky few, that never has nausea and vomiting after surgery. And I've had quiet a few surgeries (unfortunately). Im so sorry that you are feeling sick. I hope that phase passes quickly, as your body clears the anesthesia from your body. Sometimes the pain killers can cause some nausea too. But, I hear you, its painful. The first few days are the hardest. Sooooo worth the pain. You will see. I hope the drains are an easy experience for you. Let us know how your follow up appointment goes. Im so happy for you!! Take good care of yourself, and take it easy. Im excited to see your new girls! Happy Healing!!! :)
