4 Months After Voluma Treatment

loribezell
It has been 4 months after my last Voluma Treatment. In that time, I've been through hell and back. As a consequence of enduring numerous personal issues, I developed terrible health problems in response to all the stress. BUT we survived, and things are getting back to normal now. Let me tell you, friends.... stress is the WORST thing for our happiness - AND our good looks -- as we ALL know too well! I am now back on track, back at the gym, getting good rest, drinking lots of water (I make spa water - frozen organic mixed fruit mixed with water), eating much better (cooking a LOT at home), taking long soaks in the tub using my homemade bath bombs (WORK WONDERS), taking long walks, using the sauna at the gym, getting in-touch with my spiritual side, meditating, staying positive, etc.... All of these things are so important. While I'm not completely out of the woods, I look - and feel much better already. My best to you all!

I'm curious to know why you're getting multiple treatments for Voluma? I'm told that it lasts for about 18 months. How often are you getting additional treatments?

The timeframes assume we are concurrently doing our part to minimize the negative impact that stress can have on our face and body. I listen to my body and I also have a very honest, capable doctor who I trust implicitly in advising me when I am ready for updates. I Think the treatments hold up effectively, so long as we are taking great care of ourselves as well (i.e., keeping stress in check, being as happy as we possibly can, eating well (nutrition-wise), getting our sleep, drinking enough water, exercising, not sitting for long periods, etc...

You're right that a healthy lifestyle is important. I was just curious because they say Voluma should last up to a year to 18 months. Anyway you look great!

You look lovely. I appreciate your insight and advice about the effects of stress on our looks. Stress has taken a definite toll on mine. I have made an appointment with a PS to try to deal with the ever worsening bags under my eyes, will probably to with an upper and lower bleph. Your review of voluma and it's obvious success on your facial appearance will probably move me in that direction also. The advice about stress is well taken. Again, you look lovely. Keep up the good work.

It's been about a year since my November 2014 Voluma treatment. I had another round of Voluma 9/30/15. Things are still looking pretty good!

Beautiful photo. Did you feel that you had lost some of the volume from the initial treatment?

You look great! Youth restored! I can relate to your relay of how stressful situations and sadness can cause us to age rapidly! Thanks for sharing. You've encouraged me to take action. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays to you too!

You are fortunate or maybe I was unfortunate but I had voluma ($2500) and it did absolutely nothing.

Oh, I am so SORRY to hear this!! We rely on the trained eyes (and experience) of our doctors. Some injectables may be inappropriate - BUT there are always alternatives. I know that there may come a day when I may not respond to my current course of treatment -- but am unafraid of something that's [perhaps] more invasive. Be well my friend!
