WORTH IT$800
I turned 54 in June (2014) and looked pretty good then. Friends were regularly remarking how great I looked at 54. Fast-forward to 5 months later, and the effects of sudden stressor in my life -- the loss of a parent, ballooning workload, big problems in my husband's family, big problems in my family, has created lots of stress made worse by worrying, sadness, lack of sleep, not eating right and so on. Unfortunately, the cumulative effects of all this stress has had a negative impact on my face. Bottom line is, oxidative stress causes cell death in humans and directly contributes to our aging process. It certainly seems to be my situation.

2 Weeks Later Following Voluma
loribezellDecember 5, 2014
The effects of Voluma are really apparent at 2-weeks out. It also helps to get quality sleep, stay positive, eat right and drink water, which I have been doing. I think a combination of these things have made a significant improvement in my how my face looks!

Your before and after pics are dramatic and amazing! I just got vo,una in my cheeks today. Sorry for all that you endured this past year. My sense is that you are going to have a good start to the new year given your focus on self-care!

You got a beautiful result! Do you know how much Voluma they used?
Syringes come in 1ml or 2ml sizes.

You look beautiful. I'm getting a syringe of Voluma in June before I go on vacation in August. I can't wait to see how it's going to turn out. How many syringes did you use to get this awesome effect?

12/5 - Big Improvement
loribezellDecember 5, 2014
Here's another photo taken on 12/5 - the improvement is clear! Again, the combination of the Voluma, rest, drinking water and eating right have really helped to improve my otherwise tired, drawn and aged face!

You look beautiful !! Where did the doctor inject the Voluma, was it in the outer part of your checks?? Did you just have one syringe ??
December 12, 2014
Yes - the outer part of my cheeks. He did say I still have good volume in the "apple" part of each cheek, which made me happy. I had one syringe.

Hi, how many syringes did you use? Are you still happy with it? I can't decide between juvederm Ultra or Voluma
December 16, 2014
Oh, I just one syringe. Is that one syringe divided between both cheeks or one in each cheek?

You look fabulous - would also like to know how many syringes it took to gauge for myself. It might be worth the trip to go to MD. I'm sure they charge a lot more in NY. Thanks!

Perhaps - but then there are the travel costs? I would think that there are some reasonable and good docs in NY? Thanks for the feedback!

you look great! Just had voluma today for the first time. So far-loving it. Hope I look as good as you in another month or so!!!

Still enjoying the effects! We traveled to see old friends who I hadn't seen in 15 years over the New Year's Eve holiday and I kept getting comments about how great I looked - over and over again. I really think this is a great treatment to have. The aging face is definitely related to loss of volume, particularly in thin people!
I'm so sorry for your loss and all the other stressors that happened this year. I think your after pic looks a lot like your first before pic- keep us posted on how everything goes over the next week as far as swelling going down and the botox kicking in. Thanks for sharing!
