WORTH IT
As an aesthetician, I get to see a lot of plastic surgery (as well as fillers and Botox) under a bright light and high magnification. About three years ago one of my clients had a facelift by Dr Yalamanchili and I immediately got his contact info from her. I'd been getting fillers from an 'anti-aging' center, but that doctor is an Internist. WHAT a difference to have a board certified facial plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist working on me! I love that he is conservative and you will never look 'over done'. He listens and answers all your concerns.

Couldn't agree more. I was getting fillers from a doctor who does organ transplants. He didn't know what he was doing and my face used to get black and blue and very uneven. I recently had fillers from a plastic surgeon and it was very nicely done - just enough to keep it natural.

Yikes! Live and learn. I always say, "go bargain shopping for shoes, but NOT for anti-aging treatments." Natural is beautiful. Glad you found a good doc.

Ultherapy Experience
I am a HUGE fan of Ultherapy. I had my full face done in February of 2014, then again last month. I felt that the result lasted nearly two years. I saw improvement in my neck and 'jowls', as well as lifting my brow. When applying eyeshadow in the crease, the brush was swallowed up by the heavy upper lid. After Ultherapy the heaviness is gone. The most significant thing I noticed is a freckle just under my jawline is now on my face! It moved up about 3/4" in just six weeks! Typically it's several months before you notice anything. Also, my skin feels tighter and firmer overall. It's worth a bit of discomfort -- pain scale of 1 -10, I'd give it a 3. It's not even pain; it's more like a prickly feeling. I was slightly pink for about 30 minutes after having it done. I'm hoping I can do this another time in two years.

This is great information. I have an appointment in April for the skin under my chin and I was hoping to hear success stories. So, the pain is not as bad as I originally thought. Good to know. Thanks for your advice.

I chose to be numbed under the chin. My doctor said he was going to be pretty aggressive in that area. I'll take anesthesia anytime I'm offered it! Ask! The rest of the face wasn't bad -- I can only describe it as 'spicy'.

Also keep in mind that treating one area may not give you the best results. Find a diagram of the muscles of the face. Ultherapy addresses the collagen as well as 'shrinking' the muscle (they do two passes at different settings). The zygomaticus (cheek muscles) also support the platysma (neck muscles). I'm an esthetician so I know all this. ;) If the price difference isn't huge, you may want to consider doing the lower face. In my case, I did the entire face because my face shape is long and I was pretty lax. All the tissues and muscles support each other (knee bone is connected to the thigh bone...). Something to discuss with your surgeon.
