I made an appointment to see Dr. Haresh Yalamanchili, after I had a procedure performed by another doctor and I was experiencing some difficulty. Although I was aware that he possessed great skills and experience in his field, I was pleasantly surprised at his warmth and kindness. It is extremely hard when you are unable to connect with the physician who performed your procedure, and I was afraid that Dr. Yalamanchilli would not treat me because technically I was not his patient. Imagine my surprise when he not only saw me, but he sat with me and in great detail he explained the possible outcomes of the procedure I had undergone. He was not concerned about my wounds and discomfort, and he made addressing my issues his main concern. Dr. Yalamanchili’s quiet reassurance and calm guidance gave me a level of peace that I had not felt in the weeks since the initial procedure. THANK YOU, Dr. Yalamanchili, I will never forget your kindness in seeing me as a fellow human needing your experience, skills, and knowledge at a time of need!!
Thank you Dr. Yalamanchili for your kindness and exemplary care. I traveled from Rochester, NY to have my lower facelift done by you and it was very much worth it!!! Thank you to Ellen for being so kind and scheduling my Zoom meetings with you. You answered every question and put me at ease. I am almost three months post-op and am THRILLED with my results. I can’t wait to get back to Houston soon and show you in person!
It’s been 3 months since I had my 3rd Morpheus8 treatment with Dr. Y. Dr Y’s calm and patient demeanor put me at ease. Dr. Y and his staff are warm and caring and take their time to answer all of your questions and educate you on what to expect. This procedure is somewhat painful, but the numbing cream and dental blocks really, really help. I'm extremely happy with the results! It has absolutely helped to shrink my pores, tighten my face overall, and especially helped the fine lines and sagginess around my eyes and eyelids. I noticed a difference after the very first treatment. It has also gave my skin tone a glow and my skin looks plumper and fresher. I don't bruise easily so all I had to deal with was 2 days of looking like I had a bad sunburn and a little swelling on the first day. You should schedule your treatment when you know you can go a few days without makeup. I am ecstatic that I decided to brave this procedure. I have gotten many compliments from friends and family who didn’t even know that I had visited Dr. Y. He is truly a genius at using minimally invasive procedures to turn back the clock.
I am a 63 year old woman that had a lower face and neck lift by Dr. Yalamanchili on Feb 4, 2020. The entire process has favorably far exceeded my expectations. I am not even 3 weeks out and already back to my normal activities and no visible scars at all. From my first visit I knew I was in good hands. The care, diligence and professionalism to every little detail in both the pre-surgery, post-op discussions made me so confident that I was never nervous. We had long discussions about my expectations and his careful, detailed explanations about realistic outcomes. I approached the surgery fully knowing what could or could not be done and the results are wonderful. Dr. Yalamanchili’s staff is friendly, efficient and caring. My surgery took 7 hours, I was home that night with two drains, that were removed the next day. Saw Dr. Yalamanchili five times in the first two weeks after surgery for excellent post-op care. Ten days after surgery I was out at the grocery store, running errands. Very, very little bruising and I never took a pain pill. Honestly the hardest part of the entire process is sleeping on my back (I’m a side sleeper) for the first 8 days. Beyond that it was the easiest recovery from any surgery I’ve ever had. If you are contemplating plastic surgery - I urge you to make an evaluation appointment with Dr. Yalamanchili (Belage Cosmetic Surgery Cntr) and explore the possibilities. He will be thorough and truthful which is exactly what you would want from your surgeon. Feel free to ask him view my before/after pictures (Carole S).
I always have an amazing experience at The Belage Center. Dr Yalamanchili is very gently and very concerned about his patients comfort. His staff and friendly and professional. I feel very fortunate to have Dr Y and his staff keeping me feeling and looking young!!!
I highly recommend Dr Yalamanchili for any face and neck procedures. His work is very natural, you will still look like you but a lot better. At age 67, I got a lower face lift and am so happy with it. I’ve received so many compliments, no one knows what is different, they think it’s because I’m wearing my hair in a different style or it’s because I’ve lost weight. Another bonus, the Dr and his complete staff are the nicest people you will ever meet.
I'm so happy I went to see Dr. Yalamanchili. I went in for Botox for frown lines between my eyes and was amazed by the results. I've gotten botox to treat this area at other places, but never ended up returning because it didn't seem that effective to me. Dr. Yalamanchili does a wonderful job. He does the Botox himself, and charges by the area, rather than by the vile to ensure that he actually tackles the area. He also asked for a follow up so he could make sure both he and I were happy with the results. I've already scheduled my next appointment! Also, very nice staff, and always on time. I have never had to wait in the waiting room more than a few minutes!
I had been seeing a skin care M.D. for several years using Botox, fillers and laser treatments, including Ultherapy, for facial rejuvenation but reached the point where I felt I needed to consider surgery to achieve the results I wanted. Knowing that my skin care physician saw many patients with goals similar to mine, I asked for her recommendation. She suggested I see a minimum of three surgeons to fully educate myself about the process but to also compare and contrast recommendations, expectations, anticipated outcomes, and each surgeon’s personal style. She also told me that she would put Dr. Haresh Yalamanchili at the top of the list as she used the word “amazing” to describe the results she had seen from the work he performed on her patients. Dr. Yalamanchili was the first of three surgeons I met with. I was immediately very impressed. His office and staff are lovely, professional, discrete and efficient. As is he. Dr. Yalamanchili was warm and approachable, asking about my goals and concerns and in turn he patiently provided a great deal of information about the procedure he recommended to meet my goals. Although it appeared to be a busy office, the amount of time and focus he spent with me during the consultation made it seem as though I was the only person there. I walked out thinking I did not need to see any other surgeons but did follow through with two additional highly recommended ones. While they both recommended the same procedure as Dr. Yalamanchili had – a lower face and neck lift - I felt more educated, assured, and confident about the expected outcome with Dr. Yalamanchili. I could not be more pleased with both the results and the process! Dr. Yalamanchili has that perfect combination of an artistic eye guiding his surgical expertise and he indeed creates amazing results. My lower face and neck lift is more than I had hoped for – a refreshed and more youthful appearance but still very natural. I had minimal swelling and only the faintest of bruising – I was able to confidently go out after only 7-10 days. As for the process, for the first week following surgery Dr. Yalamanchili checks in with you daily to see how you are feeling, if you have any questions, and makes it clear that he will see you within minutes if you have any concerns. To minimize scarring, he removes the sutures the moment they are ready, even if it means he meets you at his office on the weekend. He continues the close monitoring and his immediate availability for weeks following the surgery. I am extremely pleased with the results and the experience and highly recommend Dr. Yalamanchili!
Dr. Yalamanchili at the Belage Center performed a lower facelift and neck lift on me and the results have been absolutely amazing!!! He is an outstanding surgeon whose meticulous attention to detail produced just the results I wanted! I have been seeing Dr. Yalamanchili for many years and through my late 40's and early 50's he was able to keep my face relatively youthful looking by way of ultherapy, sculptra, voluma and laser treatments. But as I approached my late 50's, these options became less effective and my jowling and saggy neck became more pronounced. Since I am basically a happy, active and youthful feeling person, I hated the frowning older appearance my face was taking on. My face no longer portrayed the real me. I knew it was time to go for surgery. When I arrived at the hospital for my surgery I was of course a little nervous, but as I was prepared for surgery I was introduced to my anesthesiologist and the rest of the team besides Dr. Yalamanchili who would be taking care of me in surgery and I felt like I was in good hands. The next thing I knew, I was waking up and being told that the surgery was over. There was no pain at all and I was just a little groggy from the anesthesia. I spent the night in the hospital and had to remain on my back throughout the night. I never needed any pain medication at all. The next morning, Dr. Yalamanchili removed the dressing from around my face and I couldn't believe what I saw! My jaw line was perfect, jowls were gone, no more saggy neck and not one single bruise!!! Incredible! I went home that morning and really took it easy for the next 5 days. It was a long surgery and therefore it took a little while to regain my strength. But by day 6, I was able to go out to a restaurant looking great! Sutures were well hidden around and behind my ears and since there was never any bruising to speak of, no one even suspected that I had had surgery less than a week before.
Dr. Yalamanchili was amazing from the first time I met him. Very personal! He explained everything in details. , and when I could not fully comprehend something he would illustrate it on paper. He cares deeply for his patients and gives over 100% in the work he does, will not stop until your are completely satisfied. After the procedure was done he followed up the very next day. He was there by phone or person if I had any concerns or questions. When someone ask me about rhinoplasty and the work that was done on me Dr. Yalamanchili automatically is the first thing I say. So glad he was referred to me!
The simple answer to how long Botox lasts is 3-4 months for most patients initially. However, it is not uncommon for me to see patients whose results last 5-6 months (or even longer). Why are they so lucky? Well, the more in-depth answer is a little more involved--but is worth understanding. The longevity of your Botox result actually depends on several different factors. The most important ones to focus on, in my opinion, are: 1) How strong the treated muscles are (how deep are your lines)The stronger the muscles that we are trying to treat with Botox, the greater the likelihood that the effects of Botox will wear off by 3 months, or even a little bit sooner--at least initially.2) How much Botox is being used The stronger the muscle is that creates the unwanted lines and wrinkles, the greater the amount of Botox required to effectively relax the hyperactive muscle. If you don't use enough, the results will fall short of the 3 month period. Of course, the experienced physician knows how to balance putting more Botox in with ensuring a natural-looking result.3) How long you have been treated with BotoxMany patients who have been treated with Botox regularly (every 3-4 months) for several years, will often find that their results begin to last beyond the 3-4 month range. It is not uncommon for me to have patients who now only have to come in every 6-7 months to maintain their results. I think that this happens, because over time even the strongest, overactive muscles will weaken with persistent relaxation from Botox. If you don't work out the muscle, it is going to weaken (just like any other muscle in the body). Like a fine wine, Botox treatment longevity can get even better with time!Hope this helps!Dr. Y
Botox typically takes about 3 days to start taking effect, but it can often take up to 7-10 days to achieve your maximum result. Having said that, I have found that people who are consistent with their Botox treatments notice their initial effects as quickly as 24 hours and the full result within a few days. Moreover, many of my patients who have had Botox regularly for several years, often note that the results start to last longer than the 3-4 months they would see initially.Hope this helps!Dr. Y
As you have probably seen, Botox and fillers are readily available at countless doctor's offices, med spas (and even other venues like airports, gyms, and shopping malls!). It is is understandable that there is a great deal of confusion as to why the prices can vary so widely. Ultimately, I believe that the simplest way to figure out what you should be paying for Botox is not necessarily where it is cheapest, but rather where you can get the best, most consistent results from. After all, that is really what you are paying for, isn't it? That is why I have always felt that charging by the area (e.g. the forehead, the glabella, around the eyes, etc.) makes more sense than charging by the unit. Again, if you are coming to see me because you are unhappy with the deep frown lines that are developing between your eyebrows, then my job is to make that area look as good as it can--no matter how many units that might take. If there is still movement after a week, or if the result is not lasting as long as we expect, I will place more Botox into the site at no additional charge. In my opinion, that is the simplest way to ensure that you get the optimal treatment to address your specific needs/concerns. Also importantly, I believe that charging by area actually eliminates the motivation for over-diluting Botox. Unfortunately, I am aware of more than a few instances where patients are paying for "X" number of units, but are not necessarily receiving the actual number of units they are paying for. The patient has no real way of knowing how much was used. These patients will often tell me, that they have been told that they are becoming "resistant" to the effects of Botox and they now require more units than before--and are being charged more, accordingly. As I mentioned earlier, when paying by area, if there are still any unwanted wrinkles/lines/movement after treatment of an area, we touch it up at no additional charge. This eliminates any incentive to overdilute the Botox.Regardless of how Botox is charged, the take home point is that although price is important, I think that the result is even more important. After all, cheap Botox is still a waste of money if you are not 100% satisfied with the results. Find an experienced injector who provides you with consistent results that you love, and don't look back.I hope this helps!Dr. Y
That's a great question. The short answer is that the results of a hair transplant are permanent. The transplanted hair that is taken from the donor site at the back of the head (and potentially the sides as well) maintains its ability to grow no matter where you transplant it to (i.e. the bald/thinning ares). More accurately: as long as the hair is still growing at the donor site, the transplanted hair will continue to grow as well, since they share the same characteristics. For most men, that means the transplanted hair is permanent. Now here's the catch. There is a "safe zone" of donor hair that we know will continue to grow for a lifetime. If the surgeon harvests the donor hair beyond this safe zone--in a region where the hair eventually thins and stops growing--there is a chance that that the transplanted hair might stop growing eventually as well. Most experienced hair surgeons are aware of this and can plan accordingly given your particular type of hair loss and scalp anatomy. One last thing, don't forget that hair loss is an ongoing process and that your hair continues to thin as you age. Although the transplanted hair will remain, your original hair around the transplants may continue to thin out. This might warrant future hair transplants to offset this progressive hair loss. Seek out an experienced hair surgeon who can help you understand what your particular hair loss situation may be, and can offer effective solutions to address it.I hope this helps!Best of luck,Dr. Y
Thank you for your question. Weight gain (whether from pregnancy or not) followed by substantial weight loss, can often result in undesirable laxity and looseness of the skin in the lower face and neck area. Unfortunately, as we get older, our skin loses the ability to tighten and "snap back up" to re-contour our jawline after losing weight (and therefore the fat under the chin). Granted, this is more commonly an issue for men and women in their 40's and above, but it can happen in younger patients as well--especially with a history of excess sun exposure, and a family history of early sagging in the neck.Fortunately, there are a number of surgical and non-surgical options that exist today that can help address this issue:1) Neck Lift: using an incision under the chin the remaining excess fat can be removed and the loose muscle (the platysma muscle) that is responsible for maintaining a youthful contour can be tightened. Small incisions behind the ears are usually made a well in order to remove some of the excess skin from under the neck in a way that hides the incisions.2) Neck Lift with Lower Facelift: this is the most common procedure I perform for this type of issue simply because when most people notice significant sagging in their neck region, they tend to have some sagging and jowling in the lower face as well. In this case, in addition to the previous incisions described, an incision is made along the front aspect of the ear (camouflaged in the natural creases of the ear) which allows me to lift and tighten the lower face as well. The combination of lifting the lower face and neck can have a profound effect on rejuvenating one's appearance, while maintaing a very natural look.3) Non-surgical options: there are a number of non-surgical options that are now available--some of which can have significant results when performed in the right situation. I personally have a great deal of experience with Ultherapy which tends to work well and more consistently in younger patients yourself. There are other options as well (such as Thermitight, Kybella, Instalift) which may also offer some benefit. However, the surgical options will certainly offer more consistent and comprehensive results.I would encourage you to consult with a Facial Plastic surgeon who can offer all of these options in order to help you determine which one is right for you.Hope this helps!Best of Luck,Dr. Y
