I had a breast lift with implants in May of 2005. I have 240cc Saline in the left and 270cc Saline in the right. I don't remember when my complications started (wish cell phone pics were available at that time) but I was told that I had an allergic reaction to my sutures but after lots and lots of research lately I've come to realize that it was probably due to an infection and NOT the sutures! I ended up having to have the sutures taken out prematurely which resulted in terrible scarring. It was an extremely scary time and I was so afraid I was be scarred forever. I never thought I would actually go through with this type of surgery again but I've wanted it fixed every since I healed from the first one.
I admit I have not taken great care of my breasts...when the doctor told me to take my bra off in the office to aid in healing, I took it off and rarely used it again! I still go days without wearing one. I do not work outside of my house so on days I do not go anywhere, I do not wear one.
I have researched and researched doctors and finally decided on Dr. Moliver in Houston after watching a few YouTube videos of his procedures on pocket repairs! He is SO nice and so attentive, I was so comfortable with him from the second he walked in the room. The entire staff that I have met so far have also been super sweet and accommodating. I've decided to exchange my implants for a larger size but I want to stick with Saline, mainly because I'm familiar with them. I'm hoping to increase my upper pole fullness and have them closer to the middle of my chest!
Needless to say, I am extremely nervous, scared, anxious, ect about having this done...I never try and rush time but right now I'm wishing it was March so that it would be over and hopefully the healing would be finished!

Implant deflation...1 week before surgery

Today I had my saline implants drained. I was a nervous wreck before having this done. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but the 'unknowing' was driving me insane. The draining was a simple process but it was uncomfortable...the needle poke did hurt but it was quick, the nurse missed my implant the first try so it had to be re-inserted...I have spots under each breast that have no feeling at all and got lucky on the right side and she must have hit the perfect spot and I didn't feel a thing! The draining time was extremely quick but the feeling I have now is extremely weird, I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. When I move certain ways (or move my arms certain ways) it feels like my muscle is separating from my body...I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is actually the muscle or if it is the implant casing. I have a bit more discomfort in the left side than in the right which is strange considering I'm right handed but maybe I use my left side more than I thought. I tried putting my bra back on but it's uncomfortable at the moment, I will try to post pictures with one at another time. I have added some pictures of my sad sad breasts...

Why did he deflated them prior to your surgery?

Surgery went well...I was nervous but I had to be at the facility by 6:30 and things went rather fast so honestly it kept my mind off of my nerves!!! I remember having a great conversation with the nurse and anesthesiologist when they started wheeling me down the hall and that is it...I don't even have a recollection of falling asleep.
I vaguely remember waking up in recovery with my husband next to me then we left...stayed in a hotel in the area due to my follow-up the next day. All in all, I felt fine, just really sleepy.
Apparently, Dr. Moliver had to pull my skin so tight (in order to remove my previous scarring) that I developed an 'angry spot'. He said he would keep an eye on it and that I needed to keep it moist and covered but without a bra! I washed it twice a day with Dial antibacterial soap and covered it. It made me quite nervous due to my history but I just said daily prayers and did the best I could!
