Dr. Schlesinger fulfilled my dream of giving me my breasts back after 4 pregnancies and breastfeeding, 10 months ago! After waking up with a firm and painful breast last week I called his office immediately and they arranged for me to see him ASAP. It was concluded that I had a firm capsule and would need surgery soon, as I am moving to the mainland in 2 weeks. In the meantime, he started me on Accolate and ultrasound. Fast forward a week, I show up for surgery...HEALED! No pain, no firmness! We were both surprised at how soft my breasts had become in such a short time.
I had an IV in my arm and ready to roll back to surgery, but having the knowledge and expertise (and heart of the gold) that he has, explained to me that we weren't going to fix something that wasn't broken. Dr. Schlesinger assured me that I wasn't an inconvenience for taking a surgery slot from someone else and didn't charge me a dime for having the surgery scheduled and then not needing it.
If it wasn't for his quick order of ultrasound and Accolate I most likely would have had to have the revision.
