Swelling in some areas, easily tire, but overall well.

Easy to forget how hard those first few nights are. This is a tough recovery and there's no way to sugar coat it!! Having said that, I do see a different woman when I look in the mirror, surreal! Not sure that I would do it again, but I am very happy that I did! Normal swellling in a small area of upper neck and cheek. Nose will have some swelling for a few more weeks, but the already visible positive differences are undeniable. Chin, jaw, nose, and self esteem are all singing a happy song. Although I hope this will not be the case, I do understand that complications or small bumps along the road to recovery can present themselves. I have full confidence in Dr. Shuster and will stay positive as I look for small improvements every day.

First concern for me is safety. Dr. Shuster has a clean record and performs surgery in a hospital setting vs office, this eliminates some of my overall fears of surgery. I find that his prices are competitive with other doctor's in the area. Overall fee is higher because of the surgery center fee, but this is expected. I am trying to maximize on the fact that operating room and anesthesia costs are already paid for, so my goal is to correct all areas of concerns if possible. Other surgeons that I have consulted with have offered 1/2 off additional procedures when combined. I am considering Rhinoplasty and a brow lift. Pre op appointment is scheduled for tomorrow, his OM has been very helpful so far, fingers crossed that I am able to take care of all of my concerns at once.
