1-2 weeks post op
1-7 days post op
All of these pictures were taken over a period of 1-7 days post op. You can see how bloated I was from the anesthesia. I had a ton of extra fluid in my belly. . .to the point of when I pressed on my belly you could here the fluid squishing.

I am about 5'2, 110lbs and have been tiny and small-chested my whole life. I had been wearing 32A bras since I was in high school only because it was impossible to find bras any smaller than that unless I was going to wear training bras (I was probably more like a 32AA).
I had been going back and forth about getting implants since I was very young, but I just never did it because I was fine with the way I looked. . .it was just annoying as hell that a lot of my clothes didn't fit. I have A LOT of friends that have had breast implants (some since the early days of the 80s) and I've never had one of them complain about them, but it was one of those things that I just never put a lot of weight on because it was permanently altering my body and that kind of freaked me out a lot! Not to mention, at most points in our lives, my husband and I had better things to spend $6k on than boobs!
But earlier last year things kind of worked out to where getting this procedure done was actually a possibility so my husband started doing extensive research on doctor's in the Vegas/Henderson area. He actually found one doctor in Australia that had the best work out of anyone we'd ever see. . .except the location was a little far! In doing his research, my husband came across Dr. Tracy Hankins. We decided to go with Dr. Hankins because his before and after photos were the most comparable to the pictures from the doctor we had found in Australia.
I made and initial consultation appointment in October of last year and met with Dr. Hankins and his nurse, Bambi. Bambi is an absolute gem, by the way! Even after my first consultation I still wasn't convinced that this was something I wanted to go through with the and I kept waffling back and forth. Finally, after Thanksgiving my husband said to me "if you are going to do this. . .you need to just make the appointment" as I have horrible history of putting things off. So I scheduled a follow up appointment in November to get sized again, but I still wasn't sure. I sort of had time constraints and the ideal time for me to get this done was at the end of 2015 because I had 2 weeks off from work and knew that it would just work out better all around for my recovery.
The last straw for me though, was when I had lost a few and put on a shirt that fit 5 pounds ago and now was way too big in the chest area. I finally just said "screw it" and scheduled the appointment for 12/23/15.
I went in on 12/9 and had my pre-op with Elvia, who is a doll as well. We decided on the Mentor memory gel round ultra high profile silicone implants with 430cc in the left and 455cc in the right. The day before my surgery I freaked out! Bambi called me to confirm everything and let me know my instructions for the following day and when she confirmed the size of the implants my first thought was 'no. . .those numbers sounds way bigger than the numbers we discussed in the pre-op appointment.' So, Bambi had me come back in right away so that we could try the smaller, non-high profile implants vs the implants I chose in my pre-op. Thank God because I would have been so disappointed had I gone with the smaller, wider implants. . .the just didn't fit my body.
The day of surgery went well and the women at the surgery center were super, super sweet. We went over the muscle and Dr. Hankins used textured implants. I can honestly say that I didn't have a bad recovery. I woke and had the worst pressure in the world on my chest, but a lot of that was because Dr. Hankins wraps VERY tight in the ace bandage. I was so relieved the next day when they finally took that thing off!
