I had been working out, eating right and was happy with the weight I had lost. I wasn't happy with how my skin looked, though. All the working out in the world wasn't going to change that. There were also some problem areas, my hips, that I just wanted to be in better proportion with the rest of my body. I began to consult surgeons in DC and NY (I was living in DC at the time, but my hometown is NYC). The process was long as it takes time to find the right fit. I needed a doctor who had time for me and could answer my million + 1 questions.
