Disappointing Lack of Communication During Second Hair Transplant
I had my first hair transplant at Smile Hair Clinic in November 2023 and was highly impressed with the care I received from Dr. Bü?ra Yakupo?lu. Due to positive results, I returned in September 2024 for a second procedure to address new thinning areas, trusting the clinic’s reputation.
However, upon arrival, I was informed that Dr. Yakupo?lu had left the clinic without prior notice, which caused me concern. I was introduced to Dr. M. Re?at Arpac?, whose communication was minimal and left me uneasy. Despite agreeing to treat my frontal and mid-scalp areas with 500-600 grafts, these areas weren’t addressed during surgery, leaving me confused and disappointed. Only previously treated areas were worked on, which wasn’t my intention.
While the clinic’s guest relations team arranged a second procedure on the same day with Dr. Firdavs Ahmedov to add 200 grafts to the frontal area, I feel the entire process lacked communication and transparency, making the experience stressful. I still haven’t had a response following my complaint to the clinic.
