FUT with Dr. Anderson - I think it will look very natural

I had been thinking about hair restoration for years and decided I was going to finally pull the trigger in 2023. I did a good bit of research on techniques and more importantly specific doctors. If I was going to do it, I wanted it done by a doctor consider among the top in the field. I narrowed it down to a few doctors. After a video conference with Dr. Anderson and numerous phone and email discussions with staff, I decided on Dr. Anderson.
I flew to Atlanta and spent a couple nights near the Alpharetta office. I was quite nervous the day of the surgery, but I have to say it went by fast and was painless. There was some discomfort the next couple of weeks, but nothing significant. The main consideration is the recovery protocol over the 10-day period post surgery. It is quite restrictive (and somewhat stressful) but recommended to maximize survival of the grafted hair. I know I will not truly see the results for 8-10 months, but based on what I can see now I am quite optimistic about the ultimate outcome. I think it will look very natural. From my early research on the matter, this is where the surgeon can make the greatest difference as there are a lot of nuances regarding where the grafts are placed, the direction of the hair shaft, the location of the donor hair relative to the location of the graft etc. Although the procedure is not inexpensive, I think considering the impact on appearance and self-esteem, it is well worth the investment in yourself.
