Poor Results and Wait of Time and Money.
Had my hairline "fixed" at Anderson with poor results and an older looking hairline unfortunately as I'm pretty young with a dense and full head of hair. Went to Korea and they gave me an age appropriate shape and hairline for being asian for around 7 grand for 2800 FUE grafts as well as including flight and hotel. Here I only got around 1400 grafts FUT for around 8 grand and it ended up looking like somebody sprinkled hair shavings on my forehead and had a widow's peak that looked like Vegeta. They might be fine for people of Caucasian ethnicity that are older but asian hairline shapes are very different and I don't think that was considered. Waste of money, and more importantly time as I had to wait to get the correction surgery.
Disappointed with Hairline Transplant.
The office staff is all very friendly but doesn't help how unhappy I am with the shape of the hairline. Sadly I ended up with a much older looking hairline then that I went in for. I have a pretty full head of hair but went in to get my hairline reshaped and lowered since I'm in front of the camera for work. It cost roughly the same amount to get this work done as it does to wear a frontal hair piece for about 5 or so shoots. Thus I ended up receiving my agency's approval to be reimbursed to have my hairline fixed and to take time off for this, as we were expecting to be a one and done surgery then around 6 months to a year to heal. Unfortunately due to the shape and how high the hairline still is I'll have to continue wearing frontal hair peices moving forward and had to pay out of pocket fully since "nothing was done to correct it" according to my agency. So now I'll have to get a correction surgery done and that will put me out for another few months and I'll have to wait until at minimum 7 months after my first post op to get it done (at 4 months now). I was also reassured that for the price I paid I should have been able to receive the results I was initially expecting and that I was misled. I know several individuals in my field that had much more extreme recession and were in a similar boat got great results and the style of hairline I wanted and for less, why not me? This experience has been extremely depressing since my hair stylist and manager have to mention regularly about me being scammed and while I don't think of it to that extent I do feel that I was not heard in this process and they just gave me what they wanted and not what I went in for, maybe thinking I would just be happy with it. I went to around 5 other places before I decided to go here but wish I kept looking. I'd love for them to fix this if possible since I already paid up but it just feels like I flushed thousands of dollars down the drain when I'll still have to wear a hair system. I hate leaving poor reviews but I make my income on my appearance and this putting me out for so long just to have to do it again and deal with the recovery again as well is both mentally and physically exhausting.
