Seven weeks today

I am feeling almost normal again. Still wearing my faja all day every day. Still trying to avoid sitting directly on my bum but sometimes it's impossibke to avoid. My bum has lost volume, more so on my right cheek, which kind of sucks. Also waiting for the swelling in my back to disappear which is taking forever! I feel somewhat responsible as I haven't had any professional massages or post op care since being home and I did not rest and stay off my feet as advised. The attached pics are from 4 weeks post-op. Will post new ones soon

I know I'm still in the early stages but my body looked so much better before I left GDL. I was getting drained and massaged every day which I have not had since being back. I am retaining water and swelling in my lower back and lower stomach. Havebeen massaging on my own but my incisions have closed so I'm going to look into lymphatic drainage massage this week.

I had a BBL with Dr. Arenas on December 13, 2017 and was amazed with the level of medical care and professionalism I received with him and his team. I met him a day before my procedure and although I was (so) nervous beforehand, he instantly put my mind at ease. I knew I would be in great hands. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain exactly what he is going to do for you. He also showed me a before and after picture of somebody with a similar body type to give me an idea of how I would look. I had to leave only 8 days after my procedure but I wish I could have stayed in the care of Dr. Arenas and his incredible team longer throughout my recovery. Ladies and gents, if you are an overseas patient, I urge you to stay in GDL as long as you can! You will not receive the same level of care back home. I love my new shape and look forward to showing off my final results, when the masterpiece is complete!
