Let me save anyone reading this... who is toiling with the decision of which doctor to choose... an awful lot of time, money and frustration....just go to Dr. Groff. I say that with COMLPLETE confidence because I'm one of those leave-no-stone-unturned people who obsesses and must get 10 opinions before pulling the trigger. I relentlessly researched online and went to Philly, NJ and NYC...where I interviewed numerous highly acclaimed doctors prior to making my decision. I was so impressed with not only Dr. Groff but the amazing customer service provided by his staff, that I flew from PA to San Diego to for the procedure. It was well worth the trip. Prior to flying out, they called to schedule a time for me to speak with his pre-op nurse, Phyllis. It was well over an hour call filled with information and answers to any questions. She provided me with a list of everything I would need to know...from what to expect with every aspect of the procedure to supplies I would need following. Just when I was feeling overwhelmed by my notes, Phyllis said, "Don't worry, I'll send you a hard copy of these notes to your house so you can review them." She read my mind! Since I was coming from such a distance, I sent Dr. Groff pictures of my face so he could review them. I received a detailed estimate of the cost of the entire procedure that was easy to understand. They conveniently provided me recommendations for hotels nearby and a reputable car service to pick me up at the airport and deliver me to their office. Once there, I felt completely at home. They couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. I met with Dr. Groff, my new friend Phyllis, and Rene (such a sweetheart!) who would be assisting in the procedure. You can tell immediately that Dr. Groff is not only knowledgeable but a real artist. He pours over you with great detail and makes you feel entirely confident in his recommendations. I had the procedure on Friday and received check in calls from Phyllis all weekend. She even gave me her cell phone number to call if I had any questions arise. Once back home in PA, his medical assistant, Carrie checked in with me via email. Be mentally prepared, you're going to look like hell for a week but I'm not even 2 weeks out and I'm already thrilled with the results. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience!
