Lip Enhancement with Juvederm Volbella - Grand Rapids, MI

ORIGINAL POST

I think full lips really enhance a person's face....

WORTH IT$400
I think full lips really enhance a person's face. I've always used plumpers, make-up to outline my lips, and I even used to suction my lips with a cup to make them larger. I've always had a plump lower lip and my upper lip almost disappears when I smile.
I went to the Bengtson Center in Grand Rapids. They educated me on the multiple options for injectable fillers and were happy to answer all of my questions.
Pros of the procedure: Lips are numbed so you can't feel much at all. Immediate results. The whole procedure was quick.
Cons of the procedure: Somewhat sore for about a day but I could still eat, drink, apply make up, and talk just fine. Bruising just on lips. Bruising is common and I just covered it up with lipstick.

So pleased with my results!

did you have half of syringe or 2 half ones- essentially making one? I know they don't allow a full syringe in US yet . I just got half and wondering if i needed more.. ..
The syringe I purchased holds .55ml of product. So, I guess it could be considered "half". If you feel like you want more, do it. I actually am getting more next week but, most likely won't be using it all. I just want a tiny bit more plump.
The username "jmn2016" is me replying. I usually use real self on my phone and stay logged in. I just logged in on my computer and I must have used the wrong email for an old account that I've never used. Oops!
how do you rate the longevity of this product, and appearance of volume after 6 weeks?
I'm still happy with results. Nothing has changed. If you're wondering about doing it, I say go for it! If you're wondering about the product, I would say use the volbella if it's your first time. It's definitely more natural and supposed to last pretty long. If you want a more plumper, harder, look then use a thicker juvederm product. I was nervous to make it super obvious since I really didn't know what to expect.
Beautiful! I see all the volume as been added to the upper lip which looks great? Did they need to add some in the bottom lip too for a more balanced finish? I'm scheduled for a lip injection with Volbella and only really "need" more volume in my top lip too. So I'm wondering if they'll touch my bottom lip too.
I added only a small amount in my bottom lip, however, I probably didn't need to. Did you get yours done? Are you pleased with results?
Thanks for your reply! My appointment is in 3 weeks. I'll update once it's done. :)
You look beautiful, I have decided to get mine done now, you look so natural. How did they freeze you so that it didn't hurt. I've had injections where they use a numbing cream but that doesn't help me much. Thnak you.
They used numbing cream. The longer you keep it on, the more it works. Just ask your nurse to leave it on an extra few more minutes before she starts injecting. There were small pinches but nothing that wasn't tolerable.
