Hi ok so I'm 1 week out from surgery. I'm going to the Breast academy on the gold coast next week to confirm sizing and do the vectra images. Surgery will be two days later provided that all my questions are answered and I'm happy with the surgeon.
I'm most excited to finally have boobs to match the rest of me. I think it's funny how other women tell me I'm fine the way I am...and all those women are D cups or bigger lol but anyway I'll be going with Allergan teardrop silicone implants, dual plane, inframammory approach using the keller funnel. Some people on RS may not know what the Keller funnel is so basically it allows the surgeon to not touch the implants and the implants not to touch the skin during the surgery therefore reducing the risk of infection and though information is limited it appears to reduce capsular contracture as well.
As For the price I think it's very reasonable as I get a 12 month warranty, surgical bra, vectra imaging, keller funnel and many post op appointments up to 6 months I think.
The girls at the Breast academy have been amazing answering all of my many questions and telling me which ones the surgeon will need to answer.
If any other RS girls will be at the group presentation on Thursday 19th I'd love to hear from you. Can't wait to finally get my new boobs after years of wanting!

Tips tricks and ideas

To all the people who have had their BA already under the muscle with teardrop implants what would you recommend during recovery? Any tips or tricks while I rest at home? Is there anything you wish you had known prior to surgery? What size sports bra did you buy (if you bout one did you have to go one band size up?) I'd appreciate any tips or comments ????
Do you have to travel far for your surgery? Will someone be joining you? Feel free to join the November 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum to see if you can find a surgery buddy. Looking forward to all your updates!
Oh good...1 hour isn't bad at all. Glad your fiancee can join you!
