6 months after

It is almost 6 months - and I still haven’t been given an appointment to see the surgeon for review to see if I need steroid injections or not, although he asked to see me after he saw photos from the last nurse/manager appointment. I have been massaging the area vigorously and I think I might have reduced it a bit. At least it’s stopped growing this week. I was promised an appointment on the 18th March at another clinic out of London, with my surgeon, but no confirmation or address of this venue was given. I still really hope this is just swelling and no scar tissue.

4 and half months later

So, there’s scar tissue and too much swelling. I’ve been triple taping at night for the past 10 days, which has helped a little, especially in the morning-the swelling is not as severe, but seriously it seems my nose seems to want to go back to its original size.

3 months later

Swelling returned big time last week at 3 months post op exactly. I thought the nose was bigger than it was pre op! Lasted almost a week then started to go down yesterday. I contacted the clinic and was reassured, apparently this can happen at 3 and 9 months!!!
