After my boys #2 & #3 (twins) turned 6, I decided to get serious about looking into a mommy makeover. I was at my ideal weight and regularly hit the gym and the running trail. Despite my best efforts, I just could not erase the remnants of pregnancy and nursing. I desperately wanted to be able to celebrate and show off the body I had worked so hard to get back after pregnancy but bikinis just weren't in the cards for me. One of my friends had undergone a mommy makeover and kept urging me to look into it too. She looked great, but I was really on the fence about undergoing an elective surgery just for cosmetic purposes. I decided to just do a little "exploring" online and ended up deciding to visit some local doctors to get more information and look at pricing. After interviewing four doctors in the Austin area, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Staebel in Georgetown, which was closer to my home. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Staebel and his staff. From the moment I made the appointment they put me at ease. Dr. Staebel took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer my questions. He was understanding about my concerns around elective surgery and urged me to really think about it and make the right decision for me. Some of the other doctors I had visited with made me feel like I had to book the surgery right away or that I needed implants vs. a lift or that I should get bigger boobs not smaller ones. Dr. Staebel and his staff were clearly interested in helping me achieve the results that I wanted and in the time frame that I was comfortable with. When I made the decision to move forward, they were able to fit me in quickly and took extra time in the pre-op appointment to make sure that I was totally comfortable with everything. After my surgery was over and I had gone home, Dr. Staebel called me personally to make sure I was okay. His office even sent me flowers! Dr. Staebel is a perfectionist and at 3+ months post-op, my results are amazing. Not only do I have my bikini body back, but I actually look better than I did before pregnancy. The results look really natural too. Just the way I wanted! I would recommend Georgetown Plastic Surgery to anyone who asks. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience there. My aunt lives in Houston and she was so impressed, she even booked an appointment with Dr. Staebel for a face-lift. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!

Dr. Staebel is the best kept secret in the Austin area! He and his staff are top-notch and you can tell he really cares about his patients. My friend that got her mommy makeover in Dallas said she wishes she had known about Dr. Staebel because she would have driven to Georgetown to get results like mine.
