I am 6wks post surgery (Chester Nuffield Hospital) under Mr Jonathan Adamthwaite. I wanted to do a review to share my very positive experience with him; from my first consult to all my follow up appointments it has been nothing but a good experience.
I have felt comfortable & relaxed during the whole procedure which I think has a lot to do with faith in my surgeon & the care/ attention to detail he took. To feel that your surgeon is conciencous & sees you as an individual, taking time to ensure they get the perfect result for you is priceless.
This is my second stab at breast augmentation surgery & having the right surgeon really makes all the difference. The look, shape & feel of my new implants is so much better than first time around.
I also had my C section scar completely revised at the same time. My scar was nothing short of a mess with an overhang of excess skin over the top! Mr Adamthwaite did the most amazing job with my stomach - very happy indeed. I still have swelling after my surgery however the results are already clear to see & are impressive.
I also expected a lot more pain than I experienced; it was more like mild discomfort than pain.
So am I happy with my choice or surgery, surgeon & hospital - absolutely yes!
Would I recommend Jonathan Adamthwaite - I already have & will continue to do so (hence this review!). All the Nurses caring for me spoke so highly of him & told me that he takes him time with people & does a great job. What more can you ask for!
For anyone considering surgery like this I would recommend it; as feeling comfortable & confident in your own skin is so important.

Ah a fellow Brit! Hello! From the photo you have uploaded, they look great! And your cleavage is amazing! I've just had a mastopexy and I'm due to have my implants in 6 months at the Nuffield in Exeter, Devon. Please could you provide more info about your implant size? Placement? Profile? Did you opt for round or teardrop? I am already anxious about making the wrong decision. My surgeon initially recommended under the muscle because of my petite build but has now recommended over the muscle because I've had significant weight loss. I'd love to see more photos if you're happy to share :)

I have updated my review to answer some of your questions & put more photos on. You can see how natural nine now look as I have posted my old implant photos on (over the muscle) & new ones (under the muscle)

Hey there! Welcome, and thanks for sharing your story with us. I hope you'll get lots of support from the community. Do you know the size and brand of your implants? And did you go with silicone or saline?

I had teardrop implants under the muscle.
I had my first implants over the muscle 15yrs ago & they didn't feel that great at all; as I breast fed & got older they started to feel terrible. Mr Adamthwaite at Chester Nuffield said that your skin thins as you get older hence why I could feel the implant so much. I can't feel the implants at all now (6 wks on so I'm not pushing too hard: but before I couldn't feel them like a plastic balloon inside my chest - wasn't nice!).
I am unsure about the placement question I have had re my review sorry. All I know is they are under the muscle. I literally was so relaxed with Mr Adamthwaite I didn't feel the need to ask too many questions, I just totally trusted his judgement - so if I have any advice; just make sure you feel confident in your surgeon.
During my surgery he found that the new implants (sorry I don't k ow the size but will ask this week & update my review again!) would not fit under my muscle as my pocket was too small so he had to make a judgement on my behalf to make them fit (cut into my muscle); this your surgeon k owing exactly what you want before ou go under is vital as he might have to make decisions for you during surgery. Mr Adamthwaite made the right call for me as we had discussed the look & shape I wanted a lot.
My entire figure looks so much better already: teardrop implants have made all the difference.
Re the question I have been asked about PROFILE - we went for a look that was more full at the bottom that had width & depth to each implant. I have a really full look whilst my cleavage is really natural looking. In the photo I have a really tight bikini top on & a support top underneath so my cleavage is pushed up slightly I guess. When I have no bra on hey look amazingly natural & you can't even see my scars as they are just above the crease. I have put a photo of my round implants from before to show you how your cleavage can look quite fake & implats can look really visible if put over the muscle..
I strongly recommend above the muscle

Thank you so much for all of that info! I love that you were able to breastfeed as I enjoyed breastfeeding my first and it would be a shame not to be able to. Your last sentence I think has been written wrong? Would you strongly recommend under the muscle? I think your breasts look fab and I'm going to mention having teardrop implants to my surgeon and see what he says. I will wait for your update regarding profile and CC. Thank you for sharing :)
