I had juverderm injected in my cheeks by Dr Prasad. They look totally fake! Everyone has asked me what in the world I did to my face. I can't wait until it wears off! He does not have an artistic eye at all! His prices are sky high, only to deliver less than satisfactory results! If you are looking for a great doctor on Long Island, please contact Dr. Andrew Jacono.

Thank you for sharing your experience. There is a product called Hyaluronidase that can remove the hylouronic acid. Since the Juverdern is a semi-permanent filler, the hyaluronidase will dissolve the filler quickly. So you do not have to live with the results. Most plastic surgeons and dermatologists have this product. Good luck

Thank you! I heard I might be worse off if I try to dissolve it. Although I hate the results, I don't want it to look worse.

Youe welcome! At least you now know there is an option to dissolve the product. If it is removed, your cheeks will go back to the way they were before. The good news is that the results are temporary and will eventually dissolve.

I am with you. He also injected my face and the results are not good. I am too scared to try the dissolver but the bag combined with the undereye hollows makes me look even more tired.

Do you think you'll have it dissolved or wait until it dissolves on its own? Did you have a follow-up with the doctor?

Can you post photos? I know you may be self-conscious, but it would be helpful for the community, including the doctors, to see the results.

I followed up, but Dr Prasad suggested against dissolving it. Being that I didn't like the outcome in the first place, I really didn't want him to dissolve it anyway. I went to my dermatologist to have it dissolved, but he suggested I just let it go away on its own. I really rather not post pictures. I'd send the photos to a specific doctors if possible.

I am sorry to learn of your unhappiness with the results of your Juvaderm injection. With that said, these comments caught me by surprise - the only recent patient who reported concerns with filler results expressed satisfaction following our conversation at her follow-up appointment. This patient was also invited back for another check-up appointment, as we wanted to be absolutely sure that the she was satisfied with the achieved results. And, to our knowledge, she was. All of my patients are aware of my open door policy. If there is a problem or a potential concern, I am more than happy to address it, personally, with my patients. If a correction/revision is requested and found to be necessary, I am also happy to oblige. This is especially so for patients receiving injections - as soft tissue fillers are, by nature, subject to change after injection. This is also the reason I advise patients to return for a follow-up appointment two weeks post-treatment. There are rare occasions when, despite best efforts, a patient is still not satisfied with the results of a filler injections. In such cases, I am happy to dissolve the filler, and return the affected area to its pre-injection condition. I would be glad to do so for you, if you still find your results undesirable. We can also discuss other options available to you. I'd appreciate the opportunity to achieve your desired outcome. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best.

I am sorry that your results were not satisfactory but what area of face was treated and how much filler was used! 3800$ is a great amount though!

Hi clear123! I also had prp injections as well. It's called a vampire facial along with the fillers. The total was 3800.
