Great Experience All Around

Everything went wonderful and I'm very happy with my results. Everyone in the office made me feel welcome and were good about using my pronouns and treating me with respect. My pre-op appointments were great and the office was very helpful in making sure the paperwork had everything I needed for my insurance.

Dr. Steinwald was professional and focused on the procedure, which really helped with my dysphoria. As other reviewers have said, he does talk fast, but I was usually able to keep up and he was happy to revisit anything I may not have understood. If anything, it made the experience better for me because everything went so quickly, I didn't really have time to be dysphoric.

On that note, I don't recall experiencing any extended waiting times like you find in the usual doctor's office. Everything felt very professional and transparent. The surgery itself went very well for me and the results are better than I had hoped. During the recovery period, I could contact the nurses whenever I had a question and I always got a response that made me feel good about asking.

I'll always be grateful to Dr. Steinwald for helping me see myself in the mirror for the first time. I can't express how much his help means to me and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking top surgery.
