It has been 7 days since surgery and wanted to let you know what has gone on so far. Very anxious the day before surgery, couldn't sleep very well. Up early and husband and I left. Arrived an hr early before anybody at office and facility. The nurse came about 15 minutes after us and told us to come in and relax while she got things around. Dr brown was very accomadating as he does surgeries on Thursdays but did me on Friday as that was better for my husbands work to take me and be with me for the weekend. The anesthesiologist arrived a little while after we got in with the nurse. They were both very compassionate to me. Asked me questions and made sure that I was completely comfortable. Usually I wake up sick and very low blood sugar so they were going to do the best not to see that happen. Dr came in and asked me how I felt and I told him that I really wanted them replaced if he felt once he went in that it would be okay, but if not then to just do try and shape what little was there and I would have to live with it and accept myself. He said he wanted to make me happy and do what I would like. Stood up and he marked me with arms up and by my sides. Before I knew it I was waking up and nurse giving me cracker and drink. Felt fine, little groggy but okay to get around. Husband in and I got dressed and they gave him papers and talked with him. Dr. Brown talked with him first and explained to him. He put nauterelle allogan silicone implants in and right one got 288cc and the left got 339cc and also put them above the muscle. did not put any strattice in as felt be better not putting anything else in me but that if I felt it was something I had to have he would do it. At home I just slept and took pain meds as recommended till Monday only because it kept me relaxed, the most pain that I felt was a burning and stinging which I still feel but not quite as bad. Usually I overdue after surgery because things need to be done and I do them. Husband tried but not the best nurse for the job, lol. So only reason took pain meds as I usually have a very high tolerance to pain. Took all if the antibiotic as for infection. Husband drove me back on Tuesday for post op and they took out a few stitches. Drove myself today and nurse took out 1 stitch that was put in middle on left so that I wouldn't have puckering as he said there may be some because of the way my skin was stretched across but that he wasable to get it and should be fine. I go again Wednesday for him to check them and take post op pictures. He has the before ones and the ones with me deflate and now will have 12 day post op on the 15 th which is my appointment. Honestly I am amazed with the difference of what he has been able to do. My only concern is that the right one seems to have dropped and the left one seems to just stay in same position, hoping that he can shed some light on that bit even so it is still amazing. So far I am ecstatic and as long as I can go on for 10 yrs or hopefully to the end without another revision, I will owe my life to this Dr. When U get the copies of pics will post them and let you know what goes on next week. Sorry to go on and on bit needed to let my feelings out.

Well I have a scheduled pre-op on the 30 th of April and that will be when Dr. Brown will deflate me so I can see how badly will be if I go back to all natural. Have to decide so he can order the allergan implants smooth silicone gel for over the muscle. Surgery is on May 3, husband is going to drive me and he is supportive in whatever I decide he says, but I honestly think he would be happier if I didn't have them because of the worry and all I have been through. This will be my 5 th surgery and I so not want to go through it again, but I so like having a chest. I always had a good chest growing up and when I lost weight I lost it there and as getting older lost tissue and then has a little tea bag chest. At least that is what they seem like when you get older to me. Know I want to replace but also guess doesn't fit in my lifestyle or would of gone better. I am so envious of all you girls as u look great, and wish you all the best. If u have any thoughts or information about Dr.Brown would u please share it with me. Thank you.
