Surgery is 2 weeks away and I still can't decide what size and where the incision will be. I am not sure if I should do 425cc or larger! I have a tall frame and can easily carry large breasts. I have a lot of extra skin and stretch marks on my breasts and was a D while breastfeeding. Not having any more kids (mine are 10 and 16). Will post some pics when I get back from my pre-op appointment today. Also, am extremely worried about going through the nipple and wondering if I should go under the breast for the incision.

The scar feels flat and smooth. I haven't seen it though since it's covered by tape. But the pain has been minimal. I was able to lift my arms and reach for stuff on day 1. The only downside is I still can't feel my nipples. Hopefully the sensation will come back once I'm all healed.

Will your doctor choose which incision you want? I'm sure he/she has a good reason for going through the nipple, but maybe ask. You definitely want to be comfortable enough to ask you DR that. Either way I'm ire all will be fine :) I have constantly heard to go larger if that's what you're thinking, a lot of woman want bigger when they are done with the surgery, but ultimately it's about what looks best for you, and what's a healthy decision for you. Has you doctor recommended which size is best for you? I would think since you've had a D before and had kids it would be totally fine to go big. Maybe once you get pics you can put up a question with your pics for the other doctors on here :)

Yes he will let me choose but highly recommends going through the nipple.

My first sentence is supposed to be "will your doctor let you choose between which incision you want?"

I have extra skin too form breast feeding no my dr. Suggested 450 ccs. And I'm short at 5 ft! I think you could def carry more than 425 but just ask your ps what he thinks the max would be as far as comfortability and long term best results for your measurements. I'm getting crease incision because I do not want the higher risk of loss of sensitivity and my Dr. Agreed so he's doing crease incision. Make sure you just ask plenty of questions, good luck!

I decided to let him choose the size, and to make me look like the picture I gave him. Keeping my fingers crossed the end result is what I want :)
