How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

I Had a Terrible Experience

Doctor Diaz did a laser treatment on my face on May 31st 2022 and burned my face. Until today I still have grid marks on my face and my skin is discolored. I have spent thousands of dollars in other medical procedures and products but my face is ruined. When I went back to his office he told me “it is not my fault, I’m not God. He did not take any responsibility for his malpractice.
However, before doing the procedure, he told me that only a bad job could leave marks on my face, and that would never happen with him. I don’t understand how this guy has a 5 star rating.

We are very sorry you had an issue with your laser treatment. It is very uncommon for someone to develop complications, but there is always a risk, even when the safest settings are used. There are many factors that can affect results following a laser treatment including the skin's natural healing process, sun exposure, lifestyle choices, certain medications, hormonal fluctuations, pre-existing skin conditions, and aftercare compliance. That said, we are fully committed to working with our patients where possible to achieve high-quality outcomes. As you know, Dr. Diaz met with you numerous times, listened to your concerns, and helped you as much as he could. He even had you consult with a dermatologist and covered the costs of additional treatments to help your situation. As your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, please give us a call at (424) 278-2214 at your earliest convenience so we can discuss your experience in greater detail.
