$15,000
I have been wearing a hat for over two years now and was just tired of having to wear a hat and just was not happy taking my hat off. I would not even want to go to parties because of me having no hair. So i decided to go go see Dr. Bolton after many months of researching online for the right doctor and speaking personally to a patient. I hope this will help people on their decision on getting a transplant after seeing my progress as i will be posting every week.

Hi, you hair transplant procedure looks good, I am also planning to get hair transplant procedure done, I came across Dr. Bolton and read good reviews about him and saw lot of photos on his website it is very encouraging. I have a question though on your procedure did you get 10000 actual hairs or 10000 hair grafts? I am trying to analyze/guess my situation and approximate dollar value that will cost me. Your response is much appreciated. Thank you-VK

HI, vk2. It was 10,000 hairgrafts. Yes Dr. Bolton is pretty well recognized. While i was there there was a younger kid who flew out all the way from italy. i spoke to him before i went to do my procedure and he was pretty happy also that also encouraged me to continue with my procedure as that day i was actually there the day before my procedure to make up my mind to be sure before i went under the knife. His assistant josh was very helpful and has been in contact ever since the the procedure. Let me know if i can help you in anyway. I always available to help out as i needed someone when i was making my decision. Good luck

Hello, was the procedure painful and how long did it take? I too hate wearing hats all the time and it's beating me up emotionally. Tx.

2 moths have passed i feel the baby hairs. have been taking 1% propecia / finistride as directed by doctor. i think it is a bit thin. have gotten i think patches from hair shock but see many hairs developing in between the longer growing hairs. at this stage i am still hopfeull as i do not see much difference as i keep looking at it everyday in the mirror but do feel very little hairs coming up and they look and feel pretty thick so lets see next month at the 3rd month where i will be posting another pic.

Can you talk about your recovery after the surgery. Any pain, lost grafts, swelling, etc
September 10, 2015
recovery was well. i actually did not sleep well for the following 4 days and one day was too exhausted. i did lose think about 2 grafts that i know about but the doctors said it would not be an issue. swelling : yeah a lot.. my whole face swelled up like three days after the surgery and did not want anybody to see me !!!my face gradually swelled up within three days. the third or fourth day it was at its peak and i stayed home from work but went down from there. i guess its true what they say: it gets worse before it gets better!! but now am growing the hairs even thou its this i can actually see hairs where i did not have any so that's a plus.

How is your sutureline looking? Can you post a picture of it? How soon did you return to work after the surgery? Could your co-workers tell you had a procedure?

They don't charge by grafts they charge
by size of the strip. If you look on you tube
he says this over and over in his videos.
He doesn't count grafts but estimates
hairs by strip size and elasticity.
No he went insane at the time. I was going to book him but he went insane
due to mental issues. He started telling everyone he was Jesus. Google
it and you will see. He has gotten help seems to be doing better now
I wish him the best. ****Link Removed***
You did not get 10000 grafts he doesn't even count grafts. I was scheduled
with him when the before incident happened. Everything got cancelled
and this caused me a lot of problems. I am glad he seems to be doing better
but when it comes to medical procedures people need to know the truth
of what they are getting into and with who. I don't need to pray for forgiveness
for telling the truth. Bringing up your mother is childish. My concern is for
the patients not the doctor. The patient is the one in harms way. Unlike you
I am warning the potential patients what they are in for. His license was taken away
in Tennessee people have a right to know that, I will not comment on this topic
or in your thread again.

It seems to be between $3/4 to $12 per graft.
