Almost 9 months out

Hitting the 9 month mark soon. The forehead scar healed nicely. He did such a good job. I did experience some hair loss around the crown as expected but you can see on the pictures it has been coming back out in full force.

The nose is looking good. I think I may still have a little bit of swelling on the tip which I’ve read it’s the last part of the nose where the swelling completely goes down so I’ll do a one year post next and see if it looks like it came down.

The brow looks more lifted, which I love. I finally look more awake!

The chin implant didn’t provide the changes I was hoping for. You can still see my jowls and I’ve started to experience pain on the right side of my chin so I think my next step is to have the implant removed and do a lower face lift to achieve the results I want.

3 month post Op update

So it has been exactly 3 months since forehead reduction, rhinoplasty, brow lift, chin implant and under chin lipo. My forehead is healing nicely. I have lost some hair around the incision which I had anticipated based on the research I had done regarding this surgery. The baby hairs are starting to come out though so I am sure it would look better in a few months. The brow lift looks great, I have a more awake look. I was tired of looking tired so this is such a welcomed change. The tip of my nose still looks kind of swollen and there is a dent on the right side that has appeared now the the overall swelling has started to come down. I’m a little disappointed but hopefully it won’t be as noticeable once more of the swelling goes away. I spoke to dr. Romo and he explained that my nose was crooked prior to surgery so by straightening it, the skin that had been stretched for so long created the dent. Lastly, I don’t think the chin implant did anything to help improve the look of my jowls. As you can see with the latest front pic, the excess skin around my jaw is still noticeable. I think I need a lower facelift to address this but I will re-evaluate in a couple of months when I make my 6 month post op update. Overall I am still happy with my upper two thirds of the face, my lower third, def no improvement and I’m a bit nervous about how my nose will end up healing. Right now I’m just trusting the process and Dr. Romo. I am sure he will be open to discussing any lingering concerns at my 6 months post op appointment. I will make another post then.

Post about jowls

Ok so here is my last post on all the procedures I got done with before and two weeks post op updates. I’ll come back in another two months to give you an update on how things are healing and how things are looking. This last update is about my jowls. I mentions in one of my post Dr. Romo suggested a mi face lift with chin implant to soften my jowls. Out of all my procedures this is the only one where I haven’t see an improvement but it’s too early to tell. I asked Dr. Romo on my last visit and he said there was still swelling and a lot going on on my face because of all the procedures I did so let’s see how this looks on my next update. Giving it two months before I decide how I feel about it.
I’ve been really good at following Dr. Romo’s post op care instructions. I’m still sleeping with my head elevated and that has been super helpful with the swelling. I am done with all my meds so I’m just using the bacitracin on my wounds, nasal spray and taping my nose. Still keep it sodium to a minimum and sticking to soft foods. No exercise or lifting anything heavy or kneeling down. I walk for walks during the day to keep my body moving and my blood flowing. I’m seeing dr. Romo next week for my next follow up.
