I Nearly Lost my Life Please Think Carefully Before Choosing This Surgeon
I’m sharing this review as a sincere warning based on my personal experience with Dr. Oren Tessler at Defyne by Tessler Plastic Surgery. On March 19, 2025, I underwent a fat grafting procedure and developed a life-threatening blood clot shortly after. I was not adequately warned about serious risks like this before surgery.
When symptoms began, I felt I wasn’t taken seriously and had to seek emergency medical care on my own. The emotional, physical, and financial toll has been overwhelming. I also experienced unexpected vision problems after the procedure — including dry, watery eyes and difficulty reading — which I had never been warned might happen.
The cosmetic results were disappointing to me: uneven, unnatural-looking, and not reflective of what I had hoped for. This experience was far beyond just cosmetic regret — it turned into a medical crisis.
I encourage anyone considering surgery to do their research, ask detailed questions, and consider multiple opinions. I personally would not recommend this practice based on my outcome and experience with post-op care.
