what a journey it is !

I never had eyelids by found it good looking. Around 40 I was thinking it's almost impossible to wear mascara. But I still was ok with my face. Five years ago I learned about blepharoplasty and stared thinking out it. I visited Clinique O on Saint-Denis and was told they could take only 3mm and Botox would help.
It wasn't what I wanted to hear and put the subject on hold. Since I'm farsighted it's glasses with +7,5 and presbyopia adding +2,5 I don't we myself that much in the mirror. Zoom just changed my self awareness!
So I visited two doctors the other one was twice as expensive and only had ORL credentials.
So ... in ten days my hope is to find some of my young face again.

Doctor came in to ask where I wanted my eyebrows. That was weird To try to tell I’m what I want. It seemed he was pulling more than I’ve been pulling on the mirror for the st three months …

There was no pain in the clinic. I did talk and was aware at some point. I had a drug that probably worked but when sedation got lighter and I was injected again I said I didn’t like it and got fentanyl. I was in and out of sleep. Heard some conversation and joked to please concentrate on patient. No pain at all. I got wrapped like a mommy and stayed in the post op room after. We prescribed Dylodyl which didn’t work for my pain, Tylenol amd antibiotics. Tylenol did work for the pain that finally appeared in the night behind my ears. That was the hard part. The same pain as for a new pair of glasses and it wold not go away … I was mummified so no cold could be applied … this is the day. Black marks are for eyebrow site and fat injection site.

No more pain (almost). Kinda weak. On smoothies for five days. Swelling still subsides and I’ve switched to Advil. Sleeping is hard but neighbours are noisy and not sleeping on my side is hard.
