WORTH IT
Like most, I was apprehensive and nervous about my face-lift, but from start to finish, this was a professional and positive experience.
Ercan (the surgeon) was, warm, friendly, direct, informative and conscientious. He offered his help and advice every step of the way.
The hospital was awesome (it knocked spots off our NHS facilities). My room was like a 5 star Hotel with large screen TV, private bathroom and smart decor.
On the night after the operation, an English speaking nurse stayed with me constantly, reassuring me and seeing to my every need.
The nursing staff were lovely; friendly and attentive. I never had to wait longer than a minute or two after pressing my buzzer for assistance.
The food and snacks were delicious.
At the end of the procedure I was given all the creams and medication I might need, and Ercan kept in touch with me for several weeks afterwards. It really was a ten out of ten experience.
I have only one criticism. The payment was taken after the operation. There was a problem, as is often the case when paying large amounts abroad. My card got blocked.
The staff in the hospital office were rude and unhelpful, insinuating that i was trying to get out of paying. It was embarrassing. I managed to sort it eventually, but
I wish the payment had been taken before the operation when I was feeling stronger and able to cope with rude staff.

I discussed with Ercan that I didn't want to look different, just younger. I think he achieved that :-)
