Day 12
Still swollen but bruises going down. Good to reapply this tape as it protects the scabs from coming off prematurely and then you have a little bleeding so now I just wear all the time. The hardest thing for me has been sleeping on my back.
Day 6 post biltmore lift
Well I had sutures taken out today with no problems. I am very happy with my results and recovery. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Harley’s care and his staff. Top notch. I will
Post some additional photos in a week or so for perspective. Still swollen but no major discomfort or pain. Great practice and would highly recommend him without reservation. Asheville is a nice town too. I felt my concerns regarding the home health care I voiced earlier in these posts will be addressed. bravo Zulu to Dr. Harley and his staff! I hope I will get lucky enough to return to his clinic ;)

Lesson learned
Okay so of course I got carried away with my new confidence and nice surroundings I decided to pretend that I didn’t have surgery six days ago; and I walked too much: ate too much; and enjoyed champagne on a rooftop deck. Well guess what? I am now tired and a little more swollen and realize that was no bueno. Guess all that guidance about resting; healing; resting some more, must be true. It is so hard for me to chill but chill you must! Couch is now my best friend.....,)
