Fresh face November 2020

Dr. B and his staff were wonderful from the start. No pressure-and I loved his approach, "refresh the face, but don't make it look stiff and overdone". I chose him after doing some online research, and the fact that he specializes in surgeries "from the neck up". In my opinion, especially when it comes to the face, I wanted an "expert", and he was great! Great bedside manner, and he and his staff were very easy to talk to. He explained the procedures, downtime and answered all my questions. I had a full facelift/necklift and brow lift.

Had a neck, facelift and brow lift done at Valley Surgical in Surrey(Dr B’s office is in Vancouver but no Vancouver clinics were available). Tough to sleep the first night; not much pain jut uncomfortable and slept in recliner. Happy to have drains out the next day (quick pinch) then the fitted me with a compression bandage to wear 24/7 for a week(except to shower). Went back a week later to have staples removed(here’s a tip if your ears are really tender- ask for numbing cream when u have them removed!). Felt better after those came out! I had minimal swelling and minimal bruising near neck area (took arnica and bomelain). My swelling didn’t peak till about day 8-have lymphatic drainage massages!! Huge help! My extended benefits pay 80% and I’m so glad I went 3x week-Flow clinic in Vancouver the best!! The 2nd week of recovery you only need to wear compression bandage when you sleep, but I suggest you wear it as much as possible as it helps! Took 2 weeks off work and I probably could’ve gone back sooner had It not been for having to wear a headset and my ears were tender. Neck is much smoother, deep lines on face gone. There’s some tiny lines around mouth that lifts don’t touch, so beware of your expectations, and of course it doesn’t touch your forehead area.
I like the way Dr B did the brow lift near the tail of my brows and did he incision under my bangs on either side of each brow. Overall happy with results. I’m now 4 weeks post op. Still feeling the dissolvable stitches and a bit numb on left side, still a little puffy, but my face roller and lymphatic massage are helping and luckily I wear long hair and bangs so no one knows I’ve had recent surgery!

I'm 58, non-smoker in good health. I'm 5'4" and petite but my neck is getting saggy and I have som pretty provinces lines on lower face.Had a great consultation with Dr Buonassisi; he showed me a lot of before nd after pics, explained the procedures in detail, went through recover process, and answered wall my questions. I'm looking forward to my full facelift with mini brow lift too. I chose this dr after doing my homework, as he specializes in the face, in like some PA's that do a bit of everything. Surgery scheduled for Nov 25, 2020.
