Just a brief update. Swelling has really gone down this week but still have the damn speech impediment due to tightness. Major lisp hatting this and very hard to work with this disability. Still a little bruised it's taking forever to get rid of the 2 bruises on my cheeks. Message of the lower chin area and under my jaw daily and it's really helping with the swelling. Still very tight under my neck and feeling of a rope pulling from ear to ear. In great health this procedure made me quit alcohol altogether and I feel great about that. Still have to sleep in a upright position anything else brings on the swelling. Everyday I see improvement just went to a baby shower where I had to see my husbands side of the family and I got nothing but compliments. I did not tell a soul about my procedure but blamed the new hair color for the fresh new look.

The Good Bad and the Ugly on recovery.
15 days post op still look like I storing nuts for the winter in my huge cheeks. I have been icing daily and still taking arnica for the bruising it's a slow go on these issues. Having a hard time speaking due to the pulling of my left side. Sounds like I have a major speech impediment. No real pain just pulling and major tightness under my neck. All around my chin and under chin area extremely hard. I need to message daily and apply an Ice pack. I continue on my low sodium diet and having a hard time keeping myself away from the gym but know that when I did start up again 3 days after my lift that's when my swelling really started. Hoping for most of the swelling to disappear I have a full calendar and need to get things done.

One day away from my departure and I'm so…
One day away from my departure and I'm so ready for home. Minimal bruising left but a whole lot of swelling left to go down. No pain just extreme tightness under my neck and off to the left side up to my ear. I almost feel like a recovering stroke victim regaining my ability for speech. It really messed me up speaking wise but it is getting better daily (this is due to the tightness of my face.) Sad that I didn't get to see this beautiful country but I have been here before many times.
