I, like so many women my age (50+), had been considering a facelift for quite some time. I started my research with three well-known doctors in Beverly Hills. Well, I wasn't about to spend upwards of $50k. So, I turned to a friend who goes to TJ for dental work, who has three friends that go there for cosmetic surgery. This gave me the confidence to research, "Patients Across Borders," which I highly recommend. It was on this site that I discovered Cosmed. After reading and watching EVERY interview I could find on Dr. Quiroz, I had the initial phone interview with him. Turns out he had once lived in Westlake Village, a very upscale area not far from where I live here in California.
Long story short, I had my surgery with Cosmed May 29th. Dr. Quiroz and his entire staff are awesome! Everyone gives hugs, making an out of towner feel safe and at home.
I am 5 1/2 weeks after surgery and couldn't be happier. By the way, I really had no bruising.
So, if you are considering crossing the border for surgery, go for it!
