3 Month Chalazion Treated with Injection

I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience in case someone is in the same situation I was in and in need of real help. I developed a bump on my eyelid in January of this year that turned into a chalazion and wasn’t going away even after 3 months plus of eye ointments and hot compresses. It was embarrassing going out and to the office at work with the chalazion and felt like it consumed my thoughts constantly on what I should do. Doctors I saw suggested surgery and played it off as a minor procedure but from what I read alot of people got botched eyelids or eye twitching afterwards and that really concerned me . I was feeling hopeless and thought i had no choice but to do the surgery and even had an appointment scheduled with a doctor I paid $250 deposit for to even get it scheduled. Luckily the appointment was very far out and that’s how I started surfing the net and came across this site where I noticed Dr Steinsapir commenting on chalazion treatment and how steroid injections are very successful in melting away chalazions without need for surgery thus preserving the natural state of the eyelid. I immediately called the office and was greeted by Faith who was able to have me come in within the same week. He was very hands on in preparing the entire procedure himself ensuring everything and dosage was perfect. This is very reassuring to me because i have had some bad experiences with doctor assistants screwing things up. Steinsapir really took his time and was extremely meticulous which is extremely important given how the skill and dosage of the injection can impact how successful the results are. Within 2 days my 3 month old chalazion completely disappeared with just some bruising that resolved within a week. It’s been 2 months and my eyelid looks and function like before. I feel so fortunate I cane across Faith and Dr Steinsapir before I did the surgery and regret it. I feel like i got my life back again without the constant stress and embarrassment before. I strongly encourage anyone with eyelid issues to get real and quality treatment that preserves the natural eyelid with Dr. Steinsapir. Don’t fall into the mass pressures of surgery with doctors who after spending only 3 minutes with you nonchalantly recommend cutting into your eyelids!
