4 months out lumps and bumps.. THEY WILL NOT DO A REVISION

I just got off of the phone with Sandy who informed me again that my lumps are normal and basically just get over it if you look weird when raising your eyebrows. I am fairly devastated as I write this. I am an expressive person... for someone to tell you to just stop making a facial expression? what?! My scars are still lumpy and roped and I have not looked normal since the surgery. Blepharoplasty should open your eyes not make you look like a heavy brow ridge joker.
The lack of care is sad. They knew i had lumps and bumps and never even cared to check up on me. I am not feeling cared for at all after surgery. Why would my surgeon not be the one calling me with these types of huge concerns?
i was told to massage the bumps until I see them for a follow up next month...though not sure why considering Sandy said they WILL NOT DO A REVISION? Dr. Taban does revisions for this exact mistake so I guess what Sandy is saying is that Dr. Tim doesn't know HOw to do a revision? YOU PUT IN THE FAT! YOU KNOW WHERE IT IS! TAKE IT OUT...

lumps and bumps more prominent some days

I am really hoping this resolves. I was reassured so much and told not to read stuff online but real self has literal surgeons saying these lumps above my eyes should NOT be there and that kenalog wouldn't offer much help. Starting to feel uncomfortable.... i look like a jester clown when i raise my brows.
I will probably wait a bit and go get a second opinion from someone in person just to be sure.

Confidence over Ego

I have been holding off my review because I wanted to wait for before and after pics. I have some...but I want to be fair when showing my final "settled in" result. I will share in a few months.I knew of Dr. Tim for many years because I used to work in a coffee shop making his iced lattes. We didn't talk much at the time but I have the gift of discernment and can feel people out pretty easily. I researched for months (as you should when making a surgical change to your vessel) and was surprised to see Dr. Tim's face pop up as a surgeon for blepharoplasty.I decided to give it a shot and emailed back and forth with Sandi. I will say this- Sandi was Thee most thorough and helpful employee out of any surgeon's office that I contacted. She was so upfront with so much information. It's that kind of thing that made me comfortable. It's a clean and professional office with nothing to hide. My consult was extremely thorough as were my follow-ups. Dr. Tim is sensitive and gentle. Listens and takes his time.My surgery was insanely easy and I would say there really isn't a need for pain meds. I was hurting the first night because my partner applied too much of the lubricating ointment in my eye. We freaked and called Dr. Tim (you see him the day after, anyway). I think I was only hurting because I put too much ointment in the eye. I was prescribed very few pills and did not need to use them all. I took the pills more for the gritty feeling in my eye than I did for the pain. A wisdom tooth is much worse, IMO.The Bruising and swelling are no joke. I had a bruise for right around a month. I had an extreme amount of eyelash loss and felt pretty yuck until I started on Latisse to grow them back. I did not really feel good leaving the house during this time. Working from home was kind of a saving grace because I did not expect to look odd for so long. I still have scarring 2 months out and Doctor treated it with an injection. He says it is normal and will continue to flatten so I will post pics when I feel the bumps have gone down. the lower portion of upper eyelids are relatively numb so eye makeup feels bizarre but that was expected and explained. it should resolve. might not. we'll see.

I am a tough case, lots of questions, always worried and was so nervous and concerned over my family thinking I looked done, or complications, bruising, scarring, bumps...

Today, I went for my last follow up and Dr. Tim put all of my concerns at ease. They really will be there for you and support you through the healing process to make sure you end up with the best result possible.

I felt very cared for today. So many docs get sloppy when the lizard brain Ego takes over. I thank Dr. Tim for maintaining confidence /commitment to craft over Ego. It feels like he wants your happiness and in a world of (currently faceless) people getting their foreheads scanned like barcodes- it is nice to not feel like another number or dollar sign.

I look forward to updating in a few months when complications are supposed to be minimal if any.
