10 days post-op blepharoplasty - like myself just refreshed

I had been noticing over the last few years how my eyelids were becoming heavy making me look tired and it was becoming difficult to apply eye makeup without it smudging.
I joined a Facebook group where people post before and after photos of Upper and Lower Blepharostomy surgeries which gave me the confidence to get a consultation.
I found Dr.Ellis Choy online and his reviews were excellent.
On my initial consultation with Dr. Choy he was confident that all I needed was an Upper Blepharostomy and not a brow lift as I had questioned. He showed me lots of examples of previous patients and their results and they were consistently impressive. Everyone looked so natural. He answered all my questions and informed me this would be done in his surgery under local anaesthetic.
On the day of the procedure I was slightly nervous but Dr. Choy and his team explained everything all the way through and I felt I was in safe hands. The local only stung a little bit and then I didn’t feel anything at all.
All the after care for the next week was provided to me and explained and a follow up appointment was made.
There was no pain over that week. There was expected bruising and swelling and the ice soaked gauze helped a lot.
The next week my sutures were removed. Dr Choy took the after photos and took the time to send me his before and after photos to my phone.
I am so pleased with the results! Such a small procedure has opened up my eyes so much and I still look like myself just really refreshed.
