My Beautiful Brows!

Awesome, amazing, life changing... how do I start this review? I have meant to share my story for so long. It may sound silly, but even after three years I still look at my eyebrows and I'm surprised and delighted at how they've changed the look of my face. I'm 55 years old and others close to my age will remember when it was "in" to have a thinly plucked brow-line. I literally plucked my brows to death. For years I had this ritual of starring into the mirror, choosing which little hair needed pulled from the root so I could obtain that look that was "in."  Eventually I won. The hairs surrendered and refused to grow back. One by one, they died. But I noticed too late. I found myself with just a few brow hairs left and the shape was terrible. I used every brow pencil, filler, powder, anything to make it look as though I had brows. It took a close-up picture sent to me from a friend for me to realize how awful my brows (or lack there of) really looked.  I found Dr. Dauer by researching eyebrow restoration. I found quite a few doctors actually. But no other doctor compared in terms of before and after photos, reviews, ease of reviewing and receiving information, communication and responsiveness and pleasantness of his entire staff. Because I live in Pittsburgh, multiple trips to LA would have been tough for me. But that was easily resolved by the offering of a virtual visit and simply sending some photos. In no time, I was on my way - yes - all the way from Pittsburgh!  The procedure was done in a day. With two incisions in the back of my head, the donor area was created. My newly designed brow area (which was designed together with Dr. Dauer) was marked and prepared for the implanted hairs. Dr. Dauer and his wonderful staff worked on one brow in the am and the other in the pm. In between, they ordered me a lovely lunch.  I was completely comfortable the entire day. I left the office with eyebrows! The stages of healing were just as they explained to me. Of course there was a period of slight swelling and some bruising which healed quickly and nicely. This was followed by the stages of hair growth and follicle cycles you will learn about in your consultation. So it does take some time to see the full result. But it is SO worth waiting for! Maintenance at this point for me is just a couple of minutes a week trimming the hairs. It's so easy.  It's been three years and by brows are BEAUTIFUL! I cannot even guess how many people have told me how much younger I look and nobody has ever guessed that my brows were other than naturally grown there! You will be absolutely pleased and impressed by Dr. Dauer, his staff and his clinic!
