A Journey Ive Waited Ten Years For
WORTH IT$8,707
I unfortunately suffered with eye bags which made me look constantly tired and hooded eyelids which meant I could never wear eye shadow....... as the years passed my skin didn’t look as fresh as it once did ultimately drawing attention to my problem areas ...ten years passed and I decided to go for the blepharoplasty and eye bag removal.....
Milimetreperfect came as a recommendation from my Mothers private dentist and I arranged an appointment the following week. Dr Raj Ragoowansi was reassuring, professional and answered every question thoroughly. Surgery was set for two weeks later and upon my arrival i was greeted and taken through every step of the procedure. Surgery lasted approximately 3.5 hours and when I came round I was greeted by a nurse who reassured me everything was fine.
What I would recommend to anyone having this done is to cut holes in cotton pads and dip them in iced water and lay them on the eyes as the itchiness in recovery is relentless !! I am so very happy with the outcome..... no more zooming in on photos to check my bags and i honestly feel so much younger i would definitely recommend this operation but don’t take the decision lightly as recovery is 2/3 weeks and your eyes get very tired very quickly and in the first couple of weeks sleep is imperative. Please see photos below.

First time using make up since surgery
I’ve been quite reluctant to wear make up as my eyes still feel swollen however the watery eyes have subsided and I’m feeling great wearing make up ... I never in my dreams thought I’d be able to post an unfiltered picture, but here I am !!

Hi again, Mrs Tait. I wanted to get back to you and let you know that I did, in fact, go through my upper & lower bleph surgeries along with a brow lift, one week ago. Already the change is remarkable, even with bruising and swelling. The difference is a m a z i n g. ...Once I get a bit further along, I'll post some photos that show the process taking place, daily. But I wanted to again thank you -- both your original post from the end of May, and this recent one, noting swollen, watery eyes, etc., have been very helpful, as I'm going through these symptoms, as well... It's helpful to hear from someone else about the experience! And, by the way, I was impressed with your 1 month post photo - (no make up!) - but you look absolutely gorgeous with your latest! Congratulations!

You look just terrific! The transformation is fantastic.
...I'm a month out and still swollen, although there are visible changes almost every day. ...I am also not yet wearing make-up, even though doc says it's fine to use now, but I'm taking my lead from YOU (thank you once again!). But I'm being ultra careful and waiting until I feel like things are further along in the healing.

LizzyNY Thankyou for your comments... it really is a very slow healing process... the watery eyes have completely gone now however it took a good 8-10 weeks until I started to wear make up... I tried but even the waterproof mascara just ran.
I put E45 cream on my scars even now and thankfully they’ve almost disappeared.
So honoured to be sharing your journey with you x

Hi there. I am considering this but curious what you did to your lower bags? Did they do something to tighten the skin in addition to removing fat from the under eye area? I was scared that if I remove my fat puffy eyes I will be left with massive wrinkles.

Hi I had upper and lower blepharoplasty I would definitely recommend to anyone... I had no tightening and I was so happy with the results.... go for it

What a beautiful result you've had!! Congrats you look fabulous!! Please keep us posted. I'm 8 weeks out from upper and lower bleph and still am having swelling on lowers. I had a midface/cheek lift also. Your lovely outcome gives me hope that my swelling will settle down eventually!! Thanks for sharing!!
