Six week post-op rhinoplasty. I had alarplasty, dorsal hump removal and columella surgery. No rin cartilage put in.
PS tells me right before surgery, that he wouldn't make my nose look like a white person's nose. Truth be told, I don't know what the heck my nose looks like. My nostrals are uneven. My nose is overly turned up. It looks BANANAS! Like I'm always smelling something funky. I would rather opted for the "white person's nose" then this hunk of altered mess.

Hey girl! Did your nostrils ever even out? I am 5 weeks post op (another surgeon) and my nostrils are extremely uneven, which has left me super insecure and missing my old nose. I read somewhere online that they might eventually even out after swelling decreases but everyone I see who post about uneven nostrils says they never evened out.

I'm so sorry you went through that. I had a horrible experience with them too. Everybody should avoid this guy. I hope you found somebody that could help you.

New Nose Old Face

I don't think my NEW nose fits my old face. Do I need a 2nd NEW nose or a whole NEW face? Or both? I walked into my PS office looking like the Unabomber after losing a fight. And he tells me I look great. What do you think? About my NEW nose?

your still sooooo early in recovery! I think your nose is going to look beautiful once fully healed.

It takes 6 months to get a good look at what it will look like and it is still swollen. It can take up to 1.5 years for the final look. Also, it can take up 2 months for the tip of the nose drop.

Definitely too early to tell as the others said on here. My twin sister and I have a larger wide nose as we are of mixed race and she got her nose job a few years ago and I remember her coming home and her now was turned up too. I thought omg I don't want a nose job but I never said anything so she wouldn't get her feelings hurt and then months go by and her nose slowly goes back to where it should be. I finally asked her why it was so pushed up and the PS told her that's bc your skin is cut and pulled or pushed back while your operated on and then pulled back down and stitched shut so it takes time to go back to where it should be. Makes sense. And her nose looks amazing now

Yes she went to Dr David Kaufman out where we live in Folsom, CA.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thenaturalresult.com/ This is his website, his new office is called Kaufman and Davis Plastic Surgery. If you click their yelp link I’ve added here you can see my sister has her pictures of her rhinoplasty done by him on his businesses yelp page. Under the pictures she has a few she added under her name Ashley V. He also did her Brest augmentation as well as mine and like very one else we know. https://yelp.to/qTKq/LcdMMrkZl7 I just remember it took over a year for her nose to look good and it still looks great. I’m planning on getting mine done by him in the near future too.
