Dr. D'Amico is an excellent surgeon, and with the help of his absolutely welcoming and informative staff, my breast augmentation experience could not have gone any smoother and I couldn't have been happier. Simply put, I visited Dr. D'Amico about 2 years ago for a consultation because I had lost about 60 pounds and I was not comfortable or happy with my breast AT ALL!! I'm about 5'9, 145 pounds, work out at least 3-4 times a week and my breasts that were already small got even smaller and even started to sag! (Yes small breasts do sag). Unfortunately, financially I wasn't in the position to spend the money as I was just graduating law school. Two years later, when I visited Dr. D'Amico and his amazing staff, they all remembered that I was the "soon to be attorney." (and I highly doubt that was in my chart). So if that doesn't say much about the comfort level that anyone would want when undergoing possibly daunting and even what we may think as embarrassing plastic surgery then I don't know what will.
In short, I have already and still highly recommend Dr. D'Amico for your plastic surgery. I usually never write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with those who are contemplating plastic surgery of any kind. If you find that his prices are higher than another doctor you visited, just remember you pay for what you get. And at the end of the day, comparing nickels to dimes and not getting a great pair of breasts like mine, then it is money not worth spending.
When choosing a plastic surgeon keep in mind: 1. LASTING quality of your surgery 2. the comfort level to speak and obviously have to show parts of your body to a surgeon who, has the gift to understand women and appreciate our beauty and 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY that will be able to explain everything in plain terms and explain all that medical jargon !!!!
Dr. D'Amico isn't your typical surgeon. Of course his credentials speak for themselves. But I have a few things to say that is just more than a surgeon's outstanding professionalism and expertise that I am sure anyone can speak of the same and recommend. But what makes Dr. D'Amico stand out is that he is candid, truthful and understands the desire of beauty and for women to feel comfortable, look sexy and allow plastic surgery to be just an enhancement of our beauty. Or even to just feel "normal" again. That alone sets him apart from any other doctor because as a young attorney in a still male-dominating profession, he understood exactly what I wanted and needed, and that was to have a pair of breast that I can show off in a bikini or in a tight evening dress, but then to be able to fit in with the rest of my profession without my breast being the first to walk into the room.
And I will not only speak about myself, but I can also speak for my sister who also got breast augmentation 2 years ago and she couldn't be happier and they absolutely look amazing and NATURAL!!!!! She was nearly flat chested (Double A) and when she went to get fitted at a lingerie store for a new bra, the saleswoman didn't believe that her breast were implants. He was not only determined to give my sister a pair of great new breast with a speedy and safe recovery, but a pair to match her athletic body and fun personality--and that's exactly what happened.
It’s one thing to have a great doctor with great staff to give you an optimal experience and speedy recovery, but it’s important to feel comfortable to speak about your needs and even more important for a doctor, such as Dr. D'Amico to fully understand those needs (because let’s be honest, plastic surgery isn't easy on the pockets). I was expecting and hoping for a great set of breasts, but Dr. D'Amico once again exceeded my expectations. Both my sister and I got a pair of new boobs to fit our different body types and personalities.
As to his staff, I want to thank each and every one of them for all of their patience, consideration and accommodations. Each one of them do things with a beautiful smile. Both Marie and his nurse are very knowledgeable, an absolute pleasure to speak too and who are angels to have dealt with my grumpy and hungry self after surgery. His receptionist can work wonders in scheduling appointments for you (especially for those busy working women and moms).
Again, thank you Dr. D'Amico for helping me feel comfortable, sexy in anything I wear and rocking the court room professionally!
