Do not go to this surgeon. His vision of beauty is to make every woman's breasts the same regardless of the natural boundaries that stand in his way. He obliterated my boundaries. Things that most surgeons would consider an asset he decided to undo: perfect cleavage, good pec definition, and high creases. As you can see from my before pictures I did not have unattractive breasts that he needed to overhaul. To a fault, he is a perfectionist ...TO A FAULT. His vision of breast augmentation is "natural" ie: sagging. He told me he wanted the breast to have natural movement, which made no sense to me as that may come in time but in fact that is what he meant... he wanted to start me out with low sagging breasts that moved freely. I told him I wanted them up high and not moving, he reassured me that the implants needed to move. At that point I should have left and found a new surgeon, but instead I spent time discussing this concept with the consultant and even though I still could not wrap my head around it I stuck it out with him. Dr Enevoldsen thinks every woman should have the implant completely centered around the nipple, but in order to do so he had to lower my beautiful high creases and narrow my perfect natural cleavage which actually destroyed my beautiful breasts as you can see from my explant pics because he violated my natural boundaries. He told me he was going to put the implants more up onto my chest wall which I did not realize meant narrowing my cleavage to do so. Narrowing my cleavage is what caused my pecs to become detached at the midline from ribs 3-5. I only had one thumb in between my breasts at the notch and the breasts were now bottomed out (compare where my freckle is on my chest wall). I looked ridiculous to wear a 32 band bra with 425cc implants literally centered on my chest wall with no "side boob." What the he**! Of course now they were bottomed out and even more bottomed out because he lowered my creases causing the implants to flop 4" over my new lower crease and sit on top of my floating ribs. I looked like I had breastfed 10 children. Someone asked if I was my friends mother. No clothing absolutely no clothing item looked good on me. My breasts jumped out of my bra. I had to wear one bra to separate them and another to hoist them up higher on my chest wall so I did not look like a moron. I developed a fungal rash on my back from the sweat of wearing 2 bras day and night. I had to sleep on my back and had anxiety attacks at night from the constant pain. I scoured the internet for answers. For the longest time I had no idea the severity of my problems, just that something went wrong. I did not know my pecs were detached, just that they were over-dissected. My employer would not let me go down to see him because she refused sick days even though it was illegal to do so, so I sought out another surgeon I could see on my one day off. Big mistake because again I did not know that Dr Enevoldsen had caused a complication, I just thought he gave me the natural look. I told him I could do the pencil test, he told me that it was natural! OMG, at any rate this led me to finding a new surgeon who ended up misdiagnosing me, endangering my health, causing more complications as well as wasted time and money. The final issue as if the two above were not bad enough was that he indeed did release my pec up to the clavicle (an old procedure that is not done anymore) causing the entire muscle to lift off chest wall allowing the implants to move freely up there. His bizarre surgical style violated my natural boundaries. I don't like to be negative online, but after reading my story you can draw your own conclusions. He unnecessarily overhauled my breasts. He purposely dissected pec off the chest wall up to clavicle because he said it is to allow the implants to be moved upwards for mammograms. His entire goal was the opposite of what women want from an augmentation, low and natural. I wanted high and better than natural. Monster pocket not necessary for a revision to upsize me from 300cc to 425cc. BOTH pecs detached from ribs 3-5 at midline an up to clavicle plus irreversible crease lowering. Everything most surgeons would consider an asset he destroyed: my perfect cleavage, my high creases, excellent pec definition. I had nice skin, athletic and no children. Before the surgery I spent time on the phone with the coordinator asking her why he wanted to dissect up to the clavicle. I couldn't understand what that meant. She just kept telling me it would allow the implants to sit naturally in the pocket and make mammograms possible. I told her I did not want that to be done, but on the day of surgery Dr Enevoldsen talked me into it. Right before I went under I said to the nurse please don't let him do that and the next thing I knew the surgery was over. Well what that meant was indeed that he had cut my pec off of my chest wall. The implant freely drifted up there. In fact as you can see from the pic I could actually visualize what my breast looked like without an implant. Disgusting. Utterly horrifying. Why would I want that result? As you can see from my before pic I had nice high creases and more upper pole with the 300's than I did with the 425's. After Enevoldsen's revision my breasts had a ski slope on the top and flopped 4" over my creases, I could do the pencil test. My implants were 8" lower on my chest. No one even noticed I had implants. I did not receive any compliments, in fact since they were so low on my chest no one even could tell I had implants since my chest wall was so flat. One person asked me if I was my friends Mother! My nipples were at the top of the implant, it was totally bottomed out. Regarding the over-dissection toward the midline, as you can see I had perfect cleavage. If you look at the pics you can see that I had no side boob at all, the entire implant was on my tiny chest wall. I had one thumb in between my breasts and I had these large implants centered on my chest with literally nothing on the sides of my body, it looked ridiculous. The implants sat so low on my chest wall they were on top of my floating ribs. They did not sit in a bra, which I later found out was because when he over-dissected to the midline he detached my pecs. From the day of that surgery I have had nothing but problems as the revision with Dr Daniel Kim in Newport Beach failed since he did not address the pectoralis muscle attachment and the implants were still bottomed out and still drifted to the clavicle. If you are ok with having your pec detached from the ribs and up to the clavicle as well as your creases lowered and your natural cleavage violated then you should seek Dr Enevoldsen. He decided to do all of those things to my breasts and the results were disastrous.
